Did you get the new Lego catalog this week? Elvis has been busy telling me all about the new Star Wars sets..... I did promise the kids a trip to the Lego store in DTD. That is also how 25dd is getting her dh to not complain about going to WDW for her 25th b-day..... He is a Lego fanatic,also!

If there is an *ice breaker/game thing* the first night make sure your 13ds goes!!!! 17dd will tell you that is so important! And she is very shy and quiet -- but, for some reason not when she is on a Disney ship......

Deryk carries the new lego catalog with him everywhere and I've heard all about the new Death Star and Clone Wars legos. We also got the new Brickmaster lego Indiana Jones sets this week and the kids were thrilled. They love watching the mailbox every few months for their new Brickmaster set!

My ds9 is also a Lego brickmaster. He counts the days between lego catalogs and Lego shipments. Everyday he goes to the mailbox "just to check" to see if new Lego stuff is there. He also stays in his room for hours, alone, building legos. I think your son will be in good company!

DS has the full HP set that I collected for a few years at Target 75% clearance sales before he got them for Christmas two years ago. He has a huge bin in his closet and plays in there all the time. BTW, his closet has a window that looks out on the river so it's not as bad as it sounds.

That's so funny. It reminds me when we moved last year, I told my co-workers that we just put the kids in the closet to keep them out of the way of the movers! What I forgot to tell them was that it was a huge walk-in closet with a window that we had actually used as a computer room for years. They stayed in there and played games and watched TV.

Children and Grandchildren...you got to love them!!!​

My DGD(the almost 4 year old that had Salmonella) decided to see if a Polly Pocket purple high heel shoe could fit up her nose today. I am doing my job today and DD calls to see if I could come with her to the Doctors office to watch my DGS. I told John to stay and finish the movies. While she was coming to get me.........two cars ahead of her decided to hit a huge break-away light pole. The car hit the pole and went into a ditch. My daughter missed the car in front of her by inches. The break-away pole flew over three lanes and just missed her car!!! My daughter called 911 and the police asked if she could stay by the accident scene. She said no she had to rush her daughter to the doctors. The police asked if she need to get an ambulance. Daughter said no.........there was just a shoe up her nose daughter's nose.I think my hair should be totally white by the time we cruise this August. BTW...the doctor did get out the purple shoe.

Glad everyone was okay - now................ My kids came running in the room to see what was so funny because I was laughing so hard!

My weight has been going up and down the past few years, but I haven't been a size 8 in a long time
Boy, is it just me or are the formal dresses sized small. The black dress I bought (same size as the rest of the clothes I'm currently wearing) is 2 sizes smaller than the formal dresses

I have not been a size 8 since I was 8!!!!

Yes, formals run small - just to keep us humble I think!

The other downside is.......we did a Celebrity Western Caribbean cruise when our DD was 7mths old. Finances were good so we booked the mondo suite. The problem was the extended family. We had 23 family members in our party who felt obliged to make our suite dining room and family room an extension to their on cabins. On day 3 we told them that DD was napping and they needed to *leave*.

Oldest dd & oldest ds did come every morning to our suite - they had a Cat 8 or 9. But, we gave birth to them so, they are difficult to get rid of...

"Look, a peanut" comes from POTC 3 when Jack is down in Davy Jones' locker.

I'm innocent started after an impromptu chat on a Saturday night and we were being overrun with VMK kids. We sent out a call to some mods and webmasters. When they came in they checked the chat history and started booting some of us out because of some comments that were made. One of the people who didn't get booted was MR and she had some of the worst comments - after that she was always protesting her innocence and then it just caught on.

And I WAS innocent that night. That night was a blast.. That had to be well over a year ago.

NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!

His friend called him to let him know that his 9 month old baby boy (we have known his wife since they were either in Jr Hi or just starting HS...) was diagnosed with Cancer today.

They will do surgery to remove his tumors next week and then a few days later they will put in his port.
I am heartbroken for them.

This is so sad...
I have a good friend who had a baby with cancer in her brain. Two surgerys later and 18 months of cemo and she has been cancer free for almost 4 years. She, at only 6 y/o ,was so proud to hold the banner in our local "walk for life"!
Our prayers go out to this family.
