its hot here in florida, we are having a great time.
Tomorrow we meet up with Laura and Macro at animal kingdom lodge, we are looking forward to meeting them.

Checking in quickly....

Our family had a great afternoon today with Jude and her family!!! We met up at our pool and enjoyed the hot weather!

The weather is...hot!
The crowds are...manageable...sometimes bad...sometimes okay.
We have learned...NEVER to allow Ben to try the orange line for Mission Space.

My DS who LOVES rides, loves spinning, loves simulators...got horrible motion sickness from MS! He has not been able to do ANY rides since then and tonight could not even take the loud sounds and motion of Spectromagic so after waiting 2 hours for a great parade spot we LEFT! I feel so horrible for him. He is now in bed and is trying to rest.

This has now been TWO days of feeling sick from the ride. We are hoping he gets better soon. It is so sad because he keeps saying how he waited 2 years for this trip. We are trying to make the best of it for him but it is hard.

The rest has been really wonderful and there have been highlights and good times. We just hope to get back to that soon again!

I will admit that since this is the end of the 2nd day like this - I am a bit worried about why he is not better. I asked at 1st aid and the nurse told me that by now he should be better and if he is not, maybe he is sick. I know he is not sick because he is not running a temperature and this afternoon he had a blast swimming in the pool with the other kids. Then, when we went to the MK and rode Buzz Lightyear...he got all dizzy and felt sick again. The parade was a disaster and let's not even talk about fireworks yet! He can do nothing with bright lights, movement or loud noises.

It sounds like he has veritgo from the motion.... Bruce, has gotten this twice.......You should get it checked out before you board the ship and get the anti-vert. meds. so he can get "back-on track." Call, the front desk they will provide you transportation to the Med. Help in the Orlando area.. Vertigo is set off by motion and the motion of the Ship will only make him worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bruce, says that this is how he felt this last time that he had the vertigo.........It is a virus but comes in different forms..........Definately, go and get him checked out it will only get worse and motion will only make it worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still here too, torromow is packing day and last minute errands and pets to vet for boarding, Gas up car and final review of trip plans.

Glad I wasnt at work today , I got a call about problems they had.

Yes, Jen, I'm sorry to say it does sound like vertigo. My mom got this after Disney trip two years ago - very sick and took a very long time to overcome. I didn't know children could get vertigo!(and, Kristen, I didn't realize it is a virus!)

Definitely get him checked out so hopefully he can enjoy the cruise! Good luck!

Hi to everyone who's still here! Safe travels to everyone leaving tomorrow.

I haven't had time to post since my niece was in from CA. My sister had a family party at her place on Sun so everyone could get a chance to visit. We had a really bad thunderstorm during the party and when we arrived home we had no electricity! At our place that also means no water and no septic. So we sat around the house by lantern light last night since DH had to stay up to take his meds since he is

Called my Mom today and she said "Guess where I am?" - She was in the hospital. Her BP is fine when she is sitting but it doesn't change when she moves around so when she is moving her BP is too low. Sounds like she will be fine but just makes me nervous.

Tomorrow Patrick finds out whether he gets his shorter and more importantly waterproof cast!

We leave on Wed and I'm mostly NOT packed! I do have things laid out all over our guest room and have packed the carry-ons as much as they can be without those final touches that can't be done until the last minute!

DH printed some character autograph pages and did his pin sorting today.

We'll have a little time tomorrow morning before we leave for children's hospital (usually a whole day affair!) and then DH has karate tomorrow night. Last summer Patrick and I always swam while dad was at karate. I'm sure that Patrick is going to want to go swimming tomorrow night too. And after not being able to swim all summer, I really want to take him. But is it wrong to ask for more thundershowers? Ones that don't take out our electricity.


Also wanted to share the fortune's DH and I got at Chinese on Sat night:

Does this mean I should play BINGO?

Oops I just noticed that it changed to Tues while I was typing! I better finish my spreadsheets and get to bed!

Hi all,

Just counting the days here as well! Getting some last minute things done. Yesterday I printed up a bunch of pictures so I can clear my memory card. Today before work I am going to the bank to get some cash for the trip, tomorrow DH is home and will do last minute laundry and pack his things along with some house cleaning

Whats nice is our flight on Friday is at 1:00 so we don't have to get up early on Friday morning.
