It looks like it is just the two of us left....Heather, is still here too...She leaves on Friday with us..........

The weather is concerning me at this point though!!

I am still here also. We leave on Friday, a 1:00 flight.

We have a 7 am flight on Friday, and head to the Country Inn and Suites.

Looks like we will be the last to leave on Saturday. We do have a 6am flight and should be there by 10:30am.

We will make sure to shut off the lights!!

Almost all set. Just the carryon's to get ready. Kids come home today and finish their stuff.

Hi Everyone!!!

When's the cruise? Saturday? Yikes! I think I can make it in time!!!!

In the last 24 hours we have had
- The tree guys remove (still working) 8 100+ foot trees from our yard, plus grinding, etc.

- the counter guys rip and tear and install new kitchen counters; still not done

- the plumber install new sink and plumbing

- the electrician wire the new oven
(all this kitchen work was supposed to be completed LAST Wednesday!!!)

- the construction company still building new deck (replacement; also should've been completed a week ago, doesn't look like they'll be done before we leave!!!)

- other contractor fighting to move permit along in city hall summer-mode beauracracy...

- the kids splitting logs, cutting firewood and spreading the new mulch!

- me up all night making our cruise shirts! -look cute, but I used the wrong transfers, so the colors are muted.

- and up to my eyeballs at work (boss and I will be away on vacation at same time!)

Aaaaaccccckkkkk- utter chaos! Thanks for letting me vent, er, type it out - helps me keep it all straight!

Hope all of you are well and enjoying safe, relaxing travels. Andrew - that is a shame - and so frustrating! - about Chef Mickeys. Kristen and Kathy, I hope things are going okay for your moms.

We're supposed to leave for our 13 hour drive tomorrow evening. I should probably pack when I get home from work.

Andrew - sorry about all your delays and missing Chef Mickey's. Whoever said half the fun is in getting there must not have been taking airplanes! Hope you get to WDW soon!

I didn't get any sleep last night because Patrick's cast just wouldn't dry. Talked to MD today and found out that I let him swim too long. He's only allowed in the water for 45 minutes and I let him swim for 2 hours! Oh the little details they forget to tell you. Hopefully the drying should go better from now on!

At Airport nightmare!

Two traffic jams also exit to airport closed delayed an hour last night, then cark parking the person taking my car delayed by the incoming people who went on a wander, now 90 min delay so will miss Chef Mickeys tonight!!

I am still here until Friday AM, I have been really busy getting all of my work stuff done....

We are pretty much packed, nails & hair done, finishing my last load of laundry and Elin is cutting grass (benefits of having a teenager).

I am so excited not really sleeping much....wishing we were already on our way.

MASSIVE thunderstorms here in southern Virginia - how's the weather in Florida?

Anyone driving south tonight - have a SAFE trip!

Ok, I left work right after I posted that almost two hours ago, and here I am, back at work. We had flash floods here. I got a mile in 40 minutes; turned around when the water was too deep for my SUV, went 20 minutes in the other direction, same story, floods and gridlock everywhere, I just came back to work to wait it out. Oy! What a mess! Maybe I will skip packing and we can just wear our bathing suits and t-shirts from She Sells all week

I am sitting in my room on the Magic as I type this. We've had a great trip so far. Excursions at Key West (dolphins, kayaking, snorkeling), Grand Cayman (Rum Point and Snorkel City), and Cozumel (Punta Sur) were awesome. Pirate night tonight and movie G-Force in Walt Disney Theater.

We are so happy that we don't have to go home after this cruise....we get to enjoy the cruise with you!

I walked all of decks 1, 6, 7, and 8 and there were less than 10 fish extenders. Less than 30 were even decorated.

I hope everybody who needs magnets come by...I don't want to carry these all home. I may have to decorate all the doors around me as well as mine.

I have 30-40 sets of ears.....I'll be in 6636....see ya'

Got to go...don't want to use up all my minutes...

Greetings from Richmond Va
Made it after an 9/1/2 hr drive that should have taken about 8/1/2 with breaks. (pit stops and lunch).

Ran into heavy traffic , Ny, Nj, MAryland, other side of DC.

Missed an extra here and there due to trucks being in the way.

Made it safe and sound. Due to traffic didn't make Maryland house for lunch, ate in Deleware.

Good dinner at Longhorn steakhouse and I spotted a Bob Evans that will be breakfast in AM

Yeah,, for April. What are the dates?? We are going back in April too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dinner was fun - the girls had fun with their friends.

The dates in April are - April 15-25 - the girls are dancing at downtown Disney and Sea World. The troupe will stay at the All Star Movies. Per the director they HAVE to stay at the same hotel which makes it easier when they have to perform. They day of the performance they are not allowed to leave the hotel until the show. It prevents anyone from missing or losing a costume. Works out well.

I can not wait - having a hard time concentrating at work this am - can you tell

Tonight is loading the car night, getting the carry on's finalized and just relaxing.
