Evening all so 4 weeks to this cruise and exactly one year to my next cruise from the UK!

Happy Friday Everyone!!!!

We decided to stay home this weekend - no going to the lake - it is just too cold and windy!!! Today's high is 60°, we have winds gusting to 30mph and it is drizzling on and off...YUCK!!!!

Maybe your twin DSs can get together with my DS(8)!

Fortunately we have not had rain yet this week during the day - only thunder showers at night. My DS and DH spent the days this week at Cub Scout Camp - everything is outside. Since DS can't get his cast wet, rain would create a little problem (DS does travel with garbage bags and rubber band in case of inclement weather! )

I ordered a surprise for DS for the cabin from The Perfect Gift today. It wasn't something I originally planned to do but he's being so great about everything since he broke his arm that I thought he deserved something a little special.

I can't believe there's only 4 weeks to go. I need to get my act together enough to at least figure out what I still need!

Aww that is nice. What did you order him? It must have really put a dampener on his summer with a broken arm and a cast wihich stops him doing lots of the fun stuff so it is great to hear that he has been so good about it.


Happy day here today, Schools in our area finished today so DH is on holiday now until September 1st. Tomorrow he is taking Isabelle to watch a reserve team football (soccer) match. We support Ipswich Town and their reserve team are playing just up the road in our nearest small town. Izzy has been wanting to go to a game for a while now so tomorrow they will go to that.

I went shopping yesterday for some more clothes for the trip. I found quite a lot of sales so was pleased to get some bits for me and a couple of bits for the girls.

I am a lot better thanks, its gone away, unfortually re real swine flu is taking hold a bit with some sad cases here, but luckly mine was just a cold.

I am so jealous!! My 2 sisters and I are planning a SURPRISE 45th anniversary party for our parents. Since I am the only one who is local (one is in NC, the other is in Nevada) there has been soo much to do. We're expecting about 125 people. The party is a week from today - we are finalizing the menu, linens, flowers, music, one sis is coordinating the centerpieces, another is doing the favors. And desperately trying to keep it a surprise - we have people coming from Hawaii, FL, AZ, Long Island (NY), MA, CT and RI.
No cruise planning this week - we'll be working on this!!!

Hope all your plans for the party are on track - I think that is great that you are doing that for your parents!

Do you have any more changes for the planning book? Just wondering how it is going so that I can think about the graphics for it and finish it up for you.

How did you ressie at WDW get messed up?

On tickets DCL said they will not come out until the end of next week, ie three weeks pre cruise.

How did you ressie at WDW get messed up?

We are missing one night on our ressie! Just got our paperwork yesterday and saw the ressie said 6 nights...should be 7!!!! Checked everything I sent the TA and it all said 7 nights and the right dates. I did not notice that the online form had the wrong dates and TA never questioned it or caught it either. Since it said just dates (not number of nights) - it was not noticed. Well, we booked the buy 4, get 3 free and now that offer is no longer good. So...at this point we are missing hotel for one night, food for one night and tickets!!! It is kind of a mess.

I will say that John at DU has been really helpful in helping resolve this issue and we hope to have it figured out soon. Just a bit of stress though as we thought all our plans were in place.
