Yes lots of kind hearted people make it special for the kids, also if you have cruised before and have access to the Castaway club section of the DCL website you can send e-cards, electronic post cards to your kids or anyone by email.

If you quote the sending and arriving e.mail address as the child's and then say from Mickey, they will not know its from you!

I have been in touch with DCL Concierge Services I asked about rotations, and as far as they know the formal nights and pirate nights are as we worked out and PLA looks the best.

They do say subject to alteration as it is still a way out.

I am down for that rotation,

As we progress to closer to the booking window I will see what else I can find out.

Great idea to send the eCards! I have not looked around much on the Castaway Club website yet- we just called for our club number last week.

My kids are a bit 'wise' to it now but I did it recently, and they are very nice!!!

Its funny, conceige just ''confimed'' everything I asked, having been on these boards a while you get to know a lot of things..


I have a table for 4 confirmed, wanted that this cruise, my DS has in the past played up a bit in the company of others, but cant do that when we are togther. PLA looks best.

Hello Folks! I am missing the web site! On a positive note...I now know how to fix the problem. On a negative note...I have to upgrade my software and totally rebuild the site!

Here is my plan...I am going to go purchase the upgrade tonight. I will hope to install the new software and set everything up. Tomorrow, I will work and work to rebuild the site and hope to have things back to normal by tomorrow night.

Now, that is thinking that everything is going to go perfectly I will keep you updated as I go though.

Yeah! At least we have an answer and there is an end to this technology mess!

I am not totally done - we are missing the member pages, the just for fun and a complete photo page.

I was so excited to get the new software...that I just started working and kept working...and kept working.

My goal is to have it back to where it was by tomorrow night. The bad part is that I lost all the blog entries and comments...they could not be recovered and recreated. It was one of my favorite parts of the site so I hope with time...we will have a good blog going again.

Things you should know...the address has changed slightly. Use the link at the bottom of my signature. Also, the password uses ONLY lower case letters now.

Please let me know if you have any problems with getting on the site or using it again! It is good to be back.

It really has been my pleasure to do the web site - I felt horrible when it went down.

I am just happy that the software problem happened now and not when we were closer to the cruise and potentially had many more pages!

Thankfully some of it I could cut and past...parts just had to be totally re-created!

Truly, no one needs to thank me. It has been fun from the start and even with this problem, I love doing the web site!

I am off to paint my bathroom! Talk to everyone later!

Laura - Yikes! I knew I would forget something with the site as I was working so fast.

I put a note that you need to use only lower case letters now...no capital letters allowed.

I also just authorized everyone to blog with me!

Please continue to let me know when I have missed things! I am back to painting but will be checking a lot today.
