It might be the same monster who took an hour of USA sleep a few weeks ago,

Currently we are 4 hours ahead of USA east coast, back to 5 on Sunday when we go to BST from GMT.

We'll be 6 hours ahead of Us East Coast on Sunday ...

Can anyone suggest a hotel at Port Canaveral to stay at the night before the cruise? We've stayed at the Radisson, but I was wondering if anyone preferred a particular hotel that offers a free shuttle to the terminal.

This has been very successful on our previous cruises and they have organized lots of 'meets' as we only have 7 days for this cruise its a great way to ensure there isn't time wasted settling in the first few days.

Please tell your children about the thread but also tell them not to post too private information, so not the school name, or the actual address or location where you live moreover the nearest largest city etc.

Pretty Good! It is our spring break so I am going to be enjoying a week off of school!

Tonight we are having a Disney night as a family and watching Bolt. It is a cute movie.

I will be around all day tomorrow...maybe I will drop you a line.

Enjoy your week off.......Looking, forward to our week off soon!!!!!! It was BEAUTIFUL here today...

I love BOLT. We got it for the kids on DVD for them for Easter.

Doing well busy week in school this week with Parent-Teacher Conferences, etc.....The end of this week is going to be busy too. I am in charge of my kids Cultural Day at school and we have a meeting on Wed. night which I have to run. Then Kindergarten Orientation is Thurday night and I have to go on behalf of the PTA..So it will be busy then Friday is the start of our Consignement Sale at School for the weekend. I can't wait for next weekend.

I should be home most of the day. We may go and look for a new car but otherwise will be home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the popular cruises have one and they are very active, and it helps the kids get to know each other very well, if they follow the rules of not saying anything to private such as school name etc there will not be a problem.

As sais have worked very well on other cruises such as last years repo and the Med 11 night in 2007 for me, the first Tortola cruise at the end of April has one.

I just showed the girls these pictures of Garda Lake.....WOW!!!!!!! This is nothing like the Lake Garda that their school is located on. It backs up to a small lake called Lake Garda...Thanks,, for sharing the girls are excited to go to school and tell their teacher that their friend in Italy showed them Garda Lake!!!!!!!

HOW CURIOUS that you say Lake Garda !!
We too in Italy call our lake ... LAGO (= lake) Garda !!! We translate it into Garda Lake when we know we are talking to English-speaking people ...
Otherwise we think of it as LAKE GARDA - the same way YOU name your lake in Connecticut !!!

Glad your girls liked the pictures ; we often have a day trip to that lake ( about 1 hour drive from where we live ), it's peaceful and really beautiful , with cozy villages , old castles and churches , lovely family-run small restaurants ...
Nearby there is also the biggest amusement park in Italy - called GARDALAND !!
NOT Disney , I'm afraid - but still good fun for families , teens and even grown-ups !!!

headache: I'll have 6 lessons in the morning , tutoring and meetings in the afternoon , and a short conference with my pupils' parents starting at 6.30 PM).

Hello Everyone! I am so sad to say that our Tortola Website is down right now! I have been struggling with it all day ...only to find out that there are some issues with people who are hosting their sites on Apple's web service (this is what I use). I did speak with the Apple tech department and hope to get it going again really soon.

The site uploads and everything is there but I can't keep it password protected! Yikes!

I will keep on it and hopefully will have it up again really soon.

This means no blog...and now I will probably have to post all my silly thoughts right here on the DIS until it gets fixed!

Ooh...I totally wish you luck! I hate days like that. It is so exhausting to go from early in the morning straight through to conferences in the evening. I hope you took it easy this weekend to rest up for it. Just think...soon you will have your Paris vacation!
