( In Italy we celebrate in March )

OK So this is what I know, the issue is at the local phone exchange, I understand someone organised to steal all off the copper in the exchange and that has knocked out telephones in our area, and the entire internet.

The work will take two weeks!!!

So I am not going to be around a lot, unless I live in McDonalds and post from there.

:scared1: Oh No! Two Weeks without Internet!!

Jen, I hope Ben is feeling better. Daniel had a 103.5 last weekend. We ended up missing our annual Cub Scout overnight (and I am one of the organizers) so Jim and Megan went alone. Luckily he was back in school by Monday. Stuff is going around his class, 4-5 kids are out at a time. 3 more days of school for us and then it's summer (although you would not know it by the weather we are having here).

I've picked up supplies for the FE but haven't started assembly yet. Most of my items are more adult oriented so I need to come up with some kid ideas. I did sort the cabins by deck, but now I want to organize it for those who have kids too. I gave my material to Jim's grandma today so I'm sure she'll have the FE made by tomorrow. She loves projects and was excited to make them for me.

I missed doing me Wii Active today (I know I still have time but we're going to a surprise party later and I really don't want to shower again). What does it do when you miss a day? Does Bob Greene come on and tell you to get back on track or something? It's been raining so much I haven't even been out walking for the past few days. Not good with the vacation just 7 weeks away.

Well, Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Gina

Oh no Andrew - two weeks without the net or phone that is dreadful. hope they are being pessimistic and you are sorted quicker than that.

Don't worry about missing a day on the Wii Active - are you doing the 30 day challenge? Of you are and you miss a day it just reshuffles your schedule and assigns today as a rest day - don't worry it won't start moaning at you next time you switch it on!

Hello Everyone! We are at our lake place and it is beautiful!!! Very sunny, very hot and just wonderful to be outside!!!

Ben is good again and back to his usual self. He even went swimming in the lake for a bit today.

I am going to go for a walk now...have to try to train for that 5K!!!

Jen:sunny:

Gina,

Glad that Daniel is feeling better!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is raining here AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am supposed to be hosting a last day of school beach party here on Monday...Come on stop raining PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a ton of decorations games, etc.., for the party for the girls they will all be soo disappointed............

I got Bruce the underwater camera from Cannon for our Anniversary and Father's Day for the cruise it is soooooooooo cool!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used the D10 last week to record Megan's gymnastic show. 40 minutes (with a 16 GB card). It takes great movies! Used it today for Daniel's birthday party and it seems to take better pictures than my Sony Cybershot indoors (my living room is a dark color and it always looks off with the Sony). The Canon looks very natural. Did you check out the thread on the trip reports from parasailing on Castaway Cay shot with the Canon? There is a picture of the Magic with some wave splash and the parachute in the background that the colors are so vivid on. I am really excited to use it on the cruise.

Jen-Glad Ben is back to his former self. It's always a bummer when the kids are sick and there is stuff going on that they're missing.

Congrats to all our teachers here for a successful year!:teacher::cool1: DH just finished up yesterday; he teaches elementary school. I don't know why his district's year went so long.:confused3 But I'm glad he's done - my "honey-do" list is growing!:rotfl:

Lots of summer projects to tackle this year!

I'm glad the kids are out for the summer too - even though we still have a summer full of sports and scouting, it is less hectic when you don't have homework to worry about!;)

Hooray - summer is FINALLY here for us!:goodvibes

Happy Father's Day to all our DADS!!!!:hug:pirate::love1::goofy::earboy2:

I hear ya, Kritter, re: the Northeast weather - Mom in LI has been working the US Open this week - she's having a blast but lots of weather problems.:headache: We had way too many rainy weeks this spring - good for the grass, terrible for baseball.:scared1:

We are safely in summer mode now here in sunny Virginia!:sunny: :beach: DS is pitching today, so all is good in the world!:cloud9:

Off topic (is there a topic?): To all our British friends (and any F&S fans) - it may be passe' now to you, but I've been in major French and Saunders mode this month since watching their Mamma Mia spoof on YouTube. It was spot on!:rotfl: So I've been watching all things F&S and AbFab every night; most of it was new for me - what fun!:happytv: Been calling my kids Sweetie Darling all week (ok, not really).
