Yep when it rains it pours.

We spotted a wet floor around the water heater. since the basement gets water during heavy storms we didn't think much of it.
But since the water has drained and most of that area is dry the area around the water heater is still wet.

Took a closer look and noticed a small drip on one of the legs. The water heater is up on blocks due to the wet basement condition.

Since this heater was installed in 1989, this heater doesn't owe anybody anything. Luckily its only a small drip, So I have time to get it replaced before it lets go.

Uggg Now isn't a good time to have to replace it, but I guess there never is a good time :rotfl:

Aw man Ed. You are due for some good luck. Here's some pixiedust: to give you an assist.

Happy Birthday Harry!
I got a Touch for Christmas. It's a great toy! I'm now planning to move to the iphone this fall. Itouch got me ready!

My first choice was an iPhone - however, we have AT&T right now and the service is horrible. Contracts are up next month and we'll be evaluating. Tim wants the iPhone real bad, too.

Pretty much stayed in the pool all day today - a quick storm came through that chased us inside eventually.

Celebrated my birthday tonight (another year in the can....). DW gave me an iPod Touch so I've been busy playing with that!

Hi everyone!! :sunny: I hope you are all doing great!! Today we are without house guests. It was one crazy, non-stop weekend but thankfully we have today to recoup.

I'm drowning without an assistant right now.... I did find a replacement - she starts July 7. There's a light at the end of the tunnel!!

I certainly hope she is everything the other one wasn't, in a good way!!! But darn, that probably means no more stories!

That would be fun to mess around with!! So far what you've seen of it, do you like it?

Good morning Abby! It's pretty cool - kicks the butt of my previous iPod!

How's it going?

Hi Harry!!! It's going. How about you? Don't tell me more about the ITouch! :rotfl: Then I'll want one of those!! Glad you like it! I just bought a Garmin GPS last week and finally got to use it yesterday. :thumbsup2 I love gadgets!

I've had my itouch since Christmas and let me tell you. I use it as a calendar, I check my email when I am somewhere with free wifi, I listen to music, I watch videos - this was particularly helpful when I was doing twice a week physical therapy for bicep tendonitis and had to sit through 20 minutes of electrical stimulation -- I use the stopwatch to time my daughter in swimming. If only it had a phone connected. Oh- wait - that's why I'm going to get an iphone in the fall!
:lmao:

Hi Guys,

Busy weekend here, I am waiting for my new kitchen to be installed but our Aga was built and installed last week (do you guys know Aga? It's a big range style cooker that is popular with Brits who live in the countryside!) so this weekend i have been playing at being a domestic goddess! Baking, cooking and general yumminess have been the order of the day!

Weather is pretty nice at the moment which is great, next weekend DH is away for the weekend with friends at an Iron Maiden gig so I get to stay home with the children (and Mum and Dad) but he then owes me big time!

Not jealous of Kristin being at WDW right now and DEFINITELY not jealous of the iTouch... (OK you guys know I am lying on both counts don't you!!!)

Mel,

I always wanted to have a nice big farmhouse kitchen with an Aga!!. But then we moved to California, so I guess I can't have everything!

Enjoy your new kitchen... and Aga!

Not just rural-ites - I reside in the London suburbs and couldn't live without my Aga! ;) I can't even bear to turn it off in the summer... :cloud9: What configuration did you get, Mel???

We got the 4 oven Night Storage Electris in Pewter. We had an Aga when i was a kid growing up and now DH and I sold up and My parents sold up and we all bought a place in the country which needed a bit of TLC (nothing major building wise but more an overhaul IYKWIM) so the Aga was always firmly in the plan.

Of course i was stereo typing a bit for our American friends about the typical Aga owner (green wellies, barber coat and house in the country - I am glad they are well loved in the city too :) I heard they even installed them on a narrow boat before now!

Weather was kind of hit or miss here today... so off to the movies we went - Wall-E. Oh, we were all forcibly dragged through Pottery Barn Kids as well... :rotfl:
