Hey ALL,,

One more day and we are on our way to WDW and Vero Beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking at someone's trip report from Vero- it looks really nice. The pics were great, they said buy boogie boards from the Super Walmart for $9- because that's what they cost to rent at the resort. I thought that was a good tip.

Good day all. I've been busily working away today as I must in order to keep vacationing. Today Southwest announced its fares for Nov. - Jan. and I was sure we would find a decent deal. For our Nov. cruise, we're paying nearly $300 pp roundtrip to Orlando. I don't think i've ever spent more than 220. For our December visit to BCV, we are paying nearly $400 pp. I hope I made the right decision. I just can't imagine prices going down anytime soon and since southwest only sells a certain number of tickets at the low end price points I didn't want to get closed out. It actually hurt punching in the credit card number for these two trips.

I know, the airfare is crazy. And guess what got delivered the other day to my house, OIL!!!! I can only imagine how much that will be, it was 100 gallons!! Everything is going up!!!!

Yep. One of our cruisemates from our Nov. cruise just got back and reported it was a nice trip. Right now we are signed up for Dolphin swim/encounters in Cabo, a "Best of Mazatlan" tour in Mazatlan and a visit to a beach resort - Paradise Beach Resort in Puerto Vallarta. We may cancel the Mazatlan tour and the girls will stay on the ship and I may then book the zipline tour for Maz. Still thinking about that. But we are now down to something like 45 days!!!! Though I don't yet have a cabin number. We had a Cat 8 gty. Hoping hoping hoping for a bump up to a 6.

The upgrade would be nice, I would love one on our cruise(we're in cat 9). I want to do a zipline too!!

Jeff - We also waited for today's Southwest release..... Even their Nov. fares are frightening! USAir (I hate them) matched some fares out of Philadelphia, but you are right - they aren't coming down anytime soon.

I know Airfare is outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

USAir out of Pittsburgh to Orlando in December is 697. So that 390 fare on Southwest is looking pretty good right now.

Did you end up booking with SW...????? We have never flown them before and I'm wondering if I should wait for them or book with Delta now for April Break???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You!!! hahahaha i start drivers ed this coming tuesday im very excite but the thing is i have to wake up early. i have the driving part at 7:00am and then Lecture class at 9:15-10:55am. but the good thing is that its every other day. i had a choice between every day(one day of driving, then the next day lecture class) or every other day with both in one day. so i chose every other day so im not spending my whole summer in school LOL
