We still have another 5-6 weeks of school here - they go until June 18-ish....

Other than that - working hard as usual!

That is about when we get out too but we have Field-Trips, Family P.E. Night, last night of Tumble Bunnies, Camp Registration, End of Year PTA Celebrations, Field-Day, School Picnic, etc.. It is just a busy busy time.......!!!!!!!!

Looking, forward to the warmer weather so we can get our pool opened up...!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Kristen? What's up? I'm thinking it's gonna be an early night for me, still haven't recovered from last week!! I hope Karen is having a blast on her cruise!! I wish I were. On Saturday morning before we left the resort to come home, my DH said, it would be really nice if we were getting on one of those DCL buses, I would love to relax at Castaway Cay again. I told him I knew we should've booked that cruise, I really wanted to hurt him!!

Hi all, school wraps up here on June 18th too,

It been another one of those days. just wrapping up an emergency code upgrade, this in between I got a call at work from Beth, The kitchen door that opens to the outside will not open.

Turns out the latch broke. You can turn the handle but latch bar will not open, The knobs just spin and spin.

I had to take the door off the hinges to get the door open,

Took the latch out and went to the hardware store, Turns out they no longer sell this part I have to buy a whole new door handle set and drill the door.

Oh well another project for another night.
At least the door now opens and closes. Luckily the lock is separate from the handle area, so I can still lock the door.

I spoke with my friend Heather who is on the smae cruise as Karen,, she said she is having a good time....I'm glad that your on our cruise Nikki and not cruising now.... Do you have any vacation photos to share???!!!

Oh gosh another project not what you need right now with work and all. When are you going to find time to fix the door????!!!!!!

When do your kids start back to school if they don't get out until June 18th or so? Mine are out June 5th, which is late around here. Most are out a week prior. They start back usually the 3rd Wed. in August. I wish we stuck to a Memorial Day week/Labor Day week calendar here. Most schools get out right after Memorial Day and go back after Labor Day.

Same here. We get out of school on June 18th and start the Wednesday after Labor Day. A lot of other schools in MA start before labor day.

Just wait 'til your girls get older and all the fun stuff is replaced by projects, reports, exams, and so forth. Tim has something major due in almost every subject in the next couple of weeks....

UGH!!!!!!!!!! I do not look forward to that!!!!!!!!!!!!

i will not be going on this cruise after all i had a back to back planned this cruise than on the 22nd. than i seen a very good deal on another cruise line that has 7 carribean ports the ones on this cruise and 5 more so im going on that one in january. im still going on the one on aug 22.

Oh gosh another project not what you need right now with work and all. When are you going to find time to fix the door????!!!!!!

Well I took the door off the hinges and removed the old latch.
Put the door and the old handles back on
The door can be opened but will not latch for now.
The door can be locked so it functions.

They no longer make just the latching assembly, so I will need to drill the door for a new handle assembly.

Another weekend project lol
