I hope everyone has a good one! It's only 7:21 and I'm tired already. :lmao: I've been up since 6 trying to get things ready to leave and getting everything set so when we get home tomorrow the Easter bunny will have been here. :flower:

Drive safe and have FUN Abby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm here on my own today as DH and youngest DS (Samuel) have piled into the Lexus and set off on the 260 mile round trip to see their soccer team Aston Villa play - bless 'em... :goodvibes

So I'm planning a day of self-pampering - long lazy scented bubble bath, facial treatments, manicure and pedicure. Plus I'm going to attempt to come to terms with my dodgy haircut and experiment with alternative ways of wearing my fringe (bangs)!!! :scared1: Should be fun..? ;)

Hope everyone else is having a good Saturday... :cool1:

Vs. Sunderland today, correct? Villa's next game at Man Utd is being televised here next weekend.

Thanks, I just had the kids look at both online. They are too funny they want to do both...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

The boys always split on that decision... Keira is still undecided! LOL

The last time we went to Blizzard Beach it was actually not very crowded - and on pretty hot day, too. Tim went on Summit Plummet over and over and over again in a quest to get over 55MPH! He was pretty light at the time and just couldn't get up the speed. I barreled down pretty quick, but was generally left with a mega-wedgie that I rather soon forget :rotfl:

Harry,

How old will Keira be when we cruise???!!!!!!

That's right! They're a little nervous as Villa seem to be running out of steam and even tho' the should beat Sunderland, at this stage of the season nothing's a given... ;)

Man Utd are fantastic at the moment and Cristiano Ronaldo has got to be one of the (if not THE) best players in the World! Despite the men in my life supporting Villa, I'm a Man Utd fan - my father's family originally entered England in the North West and settled there for a while before ending up in the Midlands...

Hope my DH and DS will get to see the Man U/Villa game in Barbados... :goodvibes

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I remember when Samuel went down the Leap Of Faith water ride at the Atlantis resort, Nassau a few years ago - he was a blur but when he got out his swimshorts were at armpit height!!! :lmao: :lmao:

I'm not a fan of water parks - I got a little freaked out by the number of discarded verruca plasters/dressings I saw on the pathway my first time at Blizzie Beach!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: So the gang tend to go without me. I am looking forward to trying Aquatica next summer - I shall be hiring a cabana and settling down for my day of sun with a cold drink and a crime novel... :thumbsup2

Sounds like a FUN Day. The kids want me to hide some eggs so they can practice for tomorrow morning...LOL!!!!!!!!

Happy weekend all! My Spring Break is almost over! :sad1: It has been a great week though. To top it off I'm going to watch the NCAA second round in a few hours. Stanford vs. Marquette and UCLA vs. Texas A&M. Go Bruins!

Melissa,

I'm sorry your break is almost over I always hated when I was teaching and it was over...!!!!!!!! Enjoy the rest of today and tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds better than my plans!!!

We-ell I wouldn't mind hunting for Easter eggs and nibbling on birthday cake... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Had my day of self-indulgent pampering and I'm pleased to report I have managed to do something with the oh-so-horrid hairdo!!! Thanks to DD and her collection of clips and grips that she picked up for me, I've been able to slick my fringe to the side and put a pretty clip in to keep it in place. It's not exactly sophisticated but it'll do while it grows... But enough of my self-absorbed ramblings!

The weather's been insane here today - hailstorms, blue skies, high wind and torrential rain!!! :sad2: My boys are on their way back from the match now (Villa lost! :headache: ) so I just hope the have a safe journey...

Which water park do you think is better for my kids who are six years old??

Do you think Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both are neat, but I prefer Typhoon Lagoon - you can swim with the sharks :-) It was cool (both the water and the experience!). The feeling is quite relaxing and tropical. Look out for the ice creams - served in small plastic pails with a shovel for your spoon!

You may also want to look at Seaworld's new waterpark - Aquatica. Looks fun too.

Glad you had a nice self indulgent day. Everyone needs one of those every now and again.

The weather sounds.. welll...typically 'can't make my mind up' English weather. Just reminds me one of the reasons we enjoy being over in California now :-)

Never really was a soccer fan myself. If I support anyone it is Notts Forest (but that is because all my family is from there). DH is from Northumberland so he and his family probably would be Newcastle supporters. (DH is not a soccer fan either!). Sorry the boys team lost though!

So far I've been to Costco and dyed Easter Eggs with the kids. I'm tired though, DD woke up in the night, so I didn't get much sleep. Going to settle down with the kids and watch a movie I think. I still have to make a dish for an Easter brunch & egg hunt tomorrow with our neighbors and then we have an Easter dinner in the evening with another family.

I think making the brunch dish is the last thing I need to prepare for tomorrow. All the decorative eggs are dyed and the ones for the egg hunt are filled.

Enjoy the candy / Easter eggs tomorrow:)

So far its been rush here, and rush there.

Started today taking the trash to the dump, then Caitlin to Sewing, while I did some food shopping for tomrrow, were having Turkey. Then did some easter basket supply shopping for Caitlin's basket. Picked Caitlin up, stopped and brought home sandwiches, Then it was time to Hard boil some eggs, Opps need to go and get something from the store for Beth.
Back home cooling the eggs, Time for Caitlin to color the eggs.

Later tonight I do my impression of the easter bunny as I fill the basket and pastic eggs for the egg hunt tomorrow morning.

Even at 10 1/2 Caitlin loves huntting for the eggs.

She is going be surpriesed when she opens a couple of them and find out about summer camp and change of Vacation, that money and some chocalate in some of the eggs too.

Almost forgot, a trip to Best Buy, my mouse for the laptop died, time to pick up a new one.
