New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

I saw on Facebook that a person reported they got the $100 ticket credit when they bought over $200 in lightning lanes for their trip. I'd love to see some validation of that. Anyone traveling soon that is buying lightning lanes??
I bought LL at WDW about 5 days ago. Nothing yet, but I will let you know. They also said it took about 3 weeks to post.

I bought $216 in DL Tickets and $251 in WDW LL. Nothing has posted for the $100 Ticket credit.

I just hit my $1,000 spend. The $300 statement credit hit right away as soon as I met that $1,000 threshold and all transactions posted

I haven't purchased After Hours before so can't comment on that, but both my MVMCP and regular tickets are identical in my 2025 transactions with the vendor and description of "WDW TICKETS-ONLINE".

Interestingly, Lightning Lane is also coding as the same merchant type, but its vendor is simply "WDW" instead of "World of Walt Disney" and says "WDW LIGHTNING LANE" in the description.

So, it's possible that Lightning Lane purchases may also qualify toward the ticket discount, but they are more easily distinguishable than regular tickets vs. party tickets, so we'll have to see how that plays out.
Apologies if this was already answered, but this thread got long!

Lightning Lane purchases DID qualify for the ticket benefit, so I got the $100 credit when my statement closed.

I also immediately got the 200 Disney Reward dollars after statement closing (I went to Disney right after getting the card and put WDW hotel and a Disney cruise credit on it).

Also, if you call to put an Onboard Credit (call, not on the website) it counts towards the $2000 spend, gets 3%, and 6 months 0% financing.

I was coming to report this as well. I have seen a couple posts now stating that the LL purchase triggered the 100 statement credit. Meanwhile, nothing on my 600+ afterhours ticket purchase! 🙄

I did get the credit for Lightning Lanes, but it didn’t post until after my statement closed.

Has your statement closed yet? I got the signup bonus right away when meeting the spend, but the $100 statement credit and 200 Disney Reward dollars didn’t post until after my statement closed.

No it hasn't. Not until April in fact. I did get the giftcard and 300 credit on 1000 spend very quickly. Thanks for that info though! Hopefully that is the case!

Is 0% financing on Disney cruise purchases a perk of the card? If so, how do you activate it?

I’m guessing WDW LLs? We’ve probably hit the $200 on hard tickets and LLs at this point (each!) but all at DLR.

In the Chase app, where it is describing the benefit for the streaming credit, it says:

"Enroll to earn a $10 monthly statement credit when you spend $10 or more per month on your Disney® Inspire Visa® Card on qualifying subscription or add-on purchases made directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com or Plus.ESPN.com, or choose an annual subscription for a one-time statement credit. Yearly activation required."

It seems pretty obvious if you have a monthly subscription. However, if you have an annual subscription, do you get a one-time statement credit of 12*$10? Or a one-time statement credit of $10? If the latter, it seems like a monthly subscription would be better than an annual subscription.

Yes. If you have an annual subscription you only get the 10$ one time. My annual subscription ends next month so I have changed it to switch to monthly.

I do annual for Disney+ then monthly for hulu plus live TV. This works out to be discounted costs for both and I will be able to receive the full monthly credits. Play around with those plan options if you are enrolled in both.

Applied for the card and got the dreaded “we need more time” response. I am a longtime Chase customer, never pay late, never carry a balance, and definitely within the 5/24 limits. I have all kinds of preapprovals sitting in my offers.

The only thing I suspect is maybe I have too much available credit on my other Chase personal cards. I’ve never once requested an increase or even come close to the limits, but it hasn’t stopped them from increasing them. Has anyone had any luck convincing Chase to just reallocate existing credit to get the card open?
Updating my prior post. I forgot I froze my Transunion credit report after one of those data leaks, and therefore forgot to lift it before I applied. Oops. Once I lifted it and called Chase, everything got squared away pretty quickly.

If you’re in rush to get that card, don’t be me, kids :)

I was in the same boat, but I got an email sent to DH’s address telling me that was the specific problem. I unfroze it, called the number the letter gave, Chase checked my credit and told me I could refreeze it, which I did while still on the phone with Chase. A few minutes later I was able to add my new Inspire to my Apple Wallet via the Chase app.

After I paid my annual rate for Disney+ last year I did end up bundling it with Hulu. The price difference between the bundle and just Hulu Premium stand alone is just 1$ so the bundle, paid monthly, is the better deal for me but thanks for the tip. That would work in certain situations.
