Thanks for the info, I will look into it. Where in Boston? I live in Southeastern MA. I did live in Somerville and Cambridge for quite a few years and worked in Cambridge.

They live in Woburr, I guess its a suburb of Boston. They moved there in the summer of 07. He works for a company that contracts with the city to maintain their commuter rail system.

JD99 and Soohs,
My DD is almost-9 now and will be almost 10 on the cruise. Because she'll turn 10 about 10 days after the cruise ends, I am going to try and put her in the 10-12 age group. Hopefully it won't be a problem! On our last cruise, DD was a little shy and didn't really "find" a bunch of girls her age to buddy around with. It sounds like there will be lots of girls her age this time!
My DS will be 14 at cruise time and the cousins who are travelling with us will be 9 (boy) and 7 (girl).
We're in upstate NY, just over the western Mass border.
Have a great weekend everyone!
:wave2:

That's what we did on our last cruise. Had no problem.

Not to be a pest, but when someone gets the chance if you could PM me the address to the Cruise Website I would really appriciate it - Thanks, Frank

I also scrapbook when I have the time (which isn't often). My dream is to have a scrapbook room where I can leave all my stuff out. The hardest part is setting up and cleaning up. I do meet with a group once a month which helps me get motivated. I am not very original with my pages, but it is fun.

That is so true. I have a hard time being creative. I generally go on scrapbooking weekends several times a year but by the end of the weekend I am so burned out on it that I won't scrapbook again for months.

Good Morning everyone!!!! its 6:30am here and im just about ready to leave at 7:15am for my dance show all day long. LOL

I'm not even going to tell Elizabeth yet. We JUST found a friend for our Mexican Riviera cruise this August. The board for that cruise is very slow - only about a half dozen posters but someone came on about 2 weeks ago with a 9 year old, so they are emailing back and forth now to get to know one another. As soon as that cruise is over, she'll start asking about friends for future cruises. Anytime we book a cruise now, that's her first question.

Just wait until DD4 starts being more social. Then we will be in search of 2 friends!

That's terrific for her!

It sounds like my DS will be surrounded by girls his age in Aug. 09. :)

Hey Abby, what are you doing this weekend?

Hi Nikki! How's it going? Do you have any plans?

We bought DH a new car today. He sold his old one last night to a golfing buddy. We've been shopping for a new one for a couple of years now, just putting off having to get it.

Tomorrow we have a t-ball game then Sunday we are supposed to go back to my hometown. I don't want to go though because we were just there 2 weeks ago and it takes up a whole day. I feel like we've been going non-stop lately.

Hi! I know we've already mentioned this but please let them know my DS will be 9 on the cruise and DD will be 7 also, along with all the other girls who will be 7 or around that age. We've got quite a group of 5-7 year old girls and 9/10 year old girls! This is great! I really hope my kids will have some cruise buddies and want to be in the clubs more this time.

Abby,

Congrats,, on the new car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the car Abby!! We have a cookout to go to tomorrow- we found an old Navy buddy of Steve's on myspace, and he invited us over.

Thanks Kristin! I think DH is excited, except for the car payment. But now him having a new car is making me want one. No can do though. I want to bank a big chunk for a down payment so I'm hoping to have mine at least another 4 years. I just paid it off last Aug. I've never kept a car long enough to pay it off before, and I'm loving it!

Have you been swimming yet? I thought of you today. A friend is thinking of getting her kids a trampoline. I already warned her to make room for me if she does, because I'm coming over. :goodvibes

Thanks! That is so cool Nikki! How long was your DH in? I'm sure you already shared this way back when but I forget. I never thought to look on My Space for my DH's army buddies. How far away does he live from you?

Steve was in for just 2 years- he went in right out of high school- he was 17and was out by the time he was 19. They did the 6 month Med cruise together- did a bunch of countries, and the guy lived in DC- so he would bring Steve home on weekends. He was in our wedding and everything- we lost touch after the wedding- haven't seen or heard from him in 12 years:scared1: anyway, we looked up his name 2 days ago on myspace, and there he was, married, with kids and all. He was so easy to find!! Of course his name is not so common. He wanted us to come over this weekend- was so excited to hear from us.
