Yes I am! Got a great deal on a couple of flights for DS and myself so I went ahead and booked. So far I've snagged 4 nights at BWV and the remaining 3 nights are at SSR - tho' I may try and change to all BWV...

We will be at Epcot on May 8th, until after Illuminations (I have never seen it), but we could meet somewhere in MK, during the P&P party, we are arriving at MK before lunch that day, we have ADR's at 1:20pm for CRT, so we are free after that to meet. I want to go see Jack Sparrow between 6-6:30 over by LTT- so maybe we could figure out a spot by there. I can't wait!!

I would love to see it from there, maybe next time!! Everytime we go to Epcot- we go early in the day, and are exhausted after dinner, so we wind up leaving the park early. Well this year we are sleeping in, and won't be getting to the parks until around midday. I really want to finally see Illuminations.

I saw Illuminations for the first time last October - we had an ADR at the Rose and Crown and saw it from their viewing area. It was awesome - Sophie and I loved it...

Illuminations is our favorite fireworks show. Love it.

We have seen it from the front of the park (front row seating that I had to get there an hour and a half before show started in November! Luckily it wasn't too cold!)

But the best place IMHO is from one of the pontoon boats that moor up under the bridge between France and England. Great view, but you also feel the fireworks through the boat. We have done it twice this way. First was Easter 2007 with family from the UK (a special treat for them), but we also got a boat for our 10th wedding anniversary in Jan this year. OK it rained a bit, but still cool. We took champagne on the boat with us and sat under umbrellas. Fun.

Thanksgiving they add a few extra minutes of fireworks. WOW. Amazing. Not sure how long they offer the added show for or if they do it at other times, but they sure do light up the sky then.

Hi Karen - We've seen Illuminations many times over the years, but last November we watched from the same area you did and loved it. Didn't have to stake out a spot way ahead of time, no crowds to deal with, and an nice easy escape out of the park when it was over.

Hi Nikki! I just got back from a PTO meeting. It was a public meeting but only 1 parent, who wasn't a PTO board member, out of a 400 student school, showed up. I guess the upside to that is we get alot done and don't have much opposition to ideas and fundraisers.
