Had a wonderful time! Weather fab - sunny with glorious blue skies - so we walked for miles... Visited the Tour Eiffel, Les Invalides, Jardin du Luxembourg and generally mooched around enjoying the atmosphere... Can't wait to go back...

Have a glass of vino at my elbow so time to get out the ketchup...

He is very funny - TBH I didn't realise he was so sharp until I watched him on The Apprentice! I just thought of him as a failed tabloid editor...

I try to discount the tabloid thing... his retorts are very sharp...

Hi everyone!

Jake's soccer game went very well, a 7-3 victory. Jake had a goal and played brilliantly in goal - shutting them out while he was in there.

I made it to a league basketball game to keep the peace & then hit a baseball clinic. Too much running around for a Sunday!

Everyone keeping warm (excluding the lucky ones in a warmer climate!)?

Glad we won't be seeing you or any of the other parents on the nightly news! We didn't do much today. The kids filled out Valentine cards for their classes, I did a little shopping (got a good laugh at the husbands obediently following around their wives in the store), and that's about it!

hello everyone. im back from long eventfull weekend. i got some news about the competition. we still got 3rd in lyrical, 2nd in kick and now we got 3rd in pom. i am unhappy about that cause there were very little and not noticable mess-ups. overall, at least we came home with something. i hope my last competition of the year is better than this one. so how is everyone???? its been snowing here and its very windy and freezing.

Very good idea!! How is your housing market right now? It took us 18 months to sell our last house (in an historic district downtown Dayton, which take forever to sell) and we had shopped around for about a year prior to going on the market. So by the time we sold, we knew exactly which neighborhoods we wanted and what kind of house. The bad thing was in the process, we lost out on two houses we fell in love with because we took forever to sell. I know they weren't meant to be but one of them I am still smarting over. We even tracked down the owner of that house (who was living in Iowa but renting out the house at the time) and were practically begging him to sell to us (at appraisal) even though it wasn't on the market at that time. He wouldn't do it. We explained to him that we tried to buy it about a year prior before he bought it but lost out. Then go figure, he went on the market 3 months later!!

It is definately a buyers market right now, we had been planning on moving, but we have a unique situation. My mom and dad live next door, 2 houses on 1 property. We bought the houses 13 yrs ago, didn't pay much. But it has alot of land, and schools are very poor. We will be paying for private school, and need more room. So we have to sell, but we just kind of told my mom and dad. So i think they will be moving to an apartment?? we are just looking at different areas and different types of houses. we will probably move within a year and a half depending on selling ours.
