Wasn't bad.... Jake played a pretty good game today (soccer) and then I had bunch of errands to run today. Sitting around watching "Something About Mary" right now.

Nothing special, just making plans for vacation, and ordering tickets to some Broadway shows. Got Little Mermaid and 1/2 off on Legally Blonde,

Later this year going to see Lion King and Wicked again.

Also Have tickets to see Music Man in Hartford in April.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!!! We're being more than a little battered today by high winds and storms - my conservatory has sprung a leak which I initially blamed on one of the dogs but had to apologise when I saw a drip from the roof!!!

Yes, it's calm now but apparently more wild weather is to come later. Fingers crossed we don't get a power cut - it always seems to happen to us as we're a bit out in the wilds here.

(BTW Karen, I managed to book VWL (how Christmassy is that?) for Dec, taking children too so they'll miss a week of school. I should imagine my mum's reaction was similar to that of Samuel when you told him about your pre-Christmas trip!)

Wonderful news, Joan! I hope you all have a fabulous time and WL looks so beautiful all decked out for Christmas, it'll be a gorgeous place to stay... We've all but abandoned plans to visit WDW and do the NYE Magic cruise this December as the flights (for 7 of us) are proving too costly. Ah well, I'm sure there'll be other opportunities...

That's a shame, Karen . I must agree, I was horrified when I looked at the price of flights over the Christmas period, but we just manage to avoid that. Hope you can go another time as a family get-together on the Magic for the Holidays would be truly Magical.
