Happy Saturday Dancing Queens

I hope you're all having a great weekend. We've got a quiet one ahead of us, though I will no doubt be washing and making a start on our packing

Tomorrow Paul & I are going to a Cruise Show, and it's rumoured that DCL will be showing there too, so that should be fun, then tomorrow night we're going out for a family meal at our fave Chinese all you can eat buffet

Well my holiday begins late Thursday evening when Paul & I will be heading up to Manchester Airport for the night, then Friday we fly out to WDW for 8 nights at the Pop Century. The night before the cruise we will be staying at the Ron Jon Resort at Port Canaveral, then on the Saturday we will board the Disney Magic for the first time for our 7 night cruise stopping at Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Castaway Cay. Once back at Port Canaveral we will head to DTD before flying home that evening ~ as you can imagine we're rather excited

I thought I'd pop on to say 'goodbye'. We don't leave till tomorrow night, but I've got a very busy day with many appointments, so I doubt I'll be on-line much

Hi ya DWDQs

Happy Halloween!...a little late
We had the DGKs over and did our normal trick or treat stuff!.
just a little less, I did cookies, brownies, and lots of candy!...Everyone was here and gone by 7 PM.
Mike went out and got us a pizza, and that was all the excitement for the night...
I did get some pictures, Ill try to get some posted asap.

Oh by the way, did you all see the Dream is finished and the launch was the 30th...There are videos of it on youtube.com
Sooo COOL!
It all makes me very excited to be going next May...I'm not giving up on that yet, and I'm doing well on my savings for it. So its looking like it will happen!
We would be REALLY happy to have friends on the same cruise ...Sooo.... Keep the 29th of May in mind, if you are planning a futures cruise!

I posted most of this on the TKer thread, sorry Robin, for the double post.

Its really starting to get cold here, we have even had a few flurries...

Betsy, I would love to go on the Dream with you and for half a second gave it some thought but then realized that the 29th of May is the day that Alex is getting married at the Wedding Pavilion

Do you have any plans for being down there a few days before your cruise?

If you do, maybe we could arrange to get together for a bit.

Our plans right now are to go on the Friday and return home on the Monday.

We will be staying at the POP Century.

Id love to go sooner and do some WDW and a mini meet too, before the cruise..But I don't know if Id be able to take off more time from work, also the cost may be too much.
We will just have to wait until it gets a bit closer to find out...

But if we can swing it Ill let you know...We would be staying at the pop too if we it happens.

We landed back in the UK this morning after a fab two weeks. I am so jet lagged, but I can't wait to get started on my trip report

Hey Dancing Queens

I hope you're having a lovely weekend, what are you getting up to ? anything nice ? I hope so

We are having a very quiet weekend here (thank goodness), I'm so tired, so I'm just happy to chill

I can't believe it's only 6 weeks till Christmas, I've hardly got a thing. I wrote all my Christmas cards the other day, and now I'm starting to panic about presents etc. I've got a shopping day with Kerry on Friday, then I'm taking Becky shopping the following Wednesday (they don't have the same days off college)

I'm hoping to make a start on my trip report this week, and Robin if there's anything you want to know about the cruise, just let me know

Hey there Mandy. Enjoy your peaceful weekend.

I just can't seem to get into Christmas either

I don't have much shopping to do because the cruise is the gift for Liz and her boyfriend (well, not all of it ) But now since Alex and Steph are not going I need to do something for them for Christmas and of course the inlaws and my mom. I just don't feel like doing it though.

We have been busy working on our house lately. We are looking for a new house and of course need to get this one ready to be saleable. We have decided that we are going to move my mother in with us and this house is not big enough for that. My mother is still a very active senior living in her own home, going out playing cards 4 times a week. It seems silly to be paying the expenses for two separate houses and we don't like the idea of her living in the country on her own. So, a new house is in our future.

About the cruise....... do you remember what day and time they did the Castaway Club party? You were on the Western right? On the 4 day cruise they jam all the extra perks into one morning and we were not able to do many of them. This time I would like to take advantage of as many as possible.

How did the Magic look to you? I have heard lots of reports about it looking old and worn and having a sewage smell and sewage problems? Did you notice anything?
