Hey Mandy.

Did you get to enjoy your nice warm weather?

It has been windy and chilly here but tomorrow is supposed to be a mahvellous day with temps up near 80

I didn't do anything really exciting last weekend and have no plans so far for this weekend coming.

We don't have a May day holiday although we do get a holiday for May 24th for the Queen's birthday Actually it is always on a Monday, no matter what day the 24th is. I think the holiday this year is going actually be on May 24th. It is called Victoria Day weekend or quite commonly the May two four weekend. I guess any excuse for a holiday is a good one Actually it is usually the first real camping weekend of the season and they always say don't plant your flowers outside before May 24 weekend because of the risk of frost.

Hi Dancing Queens

Thank goodness it's the weekend, and it's the first of two Bank Holiday weekends in May. It's May Day this weekend, then on the last Monday in May it's Whitsun weekend. Robin, I wish we celebrated Victoria Day too, then May would be a great month

Sadly our nice weather didn't last long, and it is getting cooler and wetter as the weekend goes along

I can't believe that Paul & I will be heading to WDW in 5 weeks, where is the time going ?

Good morning Mandy.

What is Whitsun? I've not heard of that

But any excuse for a holiday is a good one right. Especially at this time of the year

We had a fantastic warm day on Friday but now we are back to rain and thunderstorms. Actually there were a few hours yesterday afternoon where the sun was shining and it was quite nice out. I sat out and enjoyed that while it lasted.

I am having trouble accessing threads on the DISboards

Everything I click on I get an error message

I am able to get to the Threadkillers and this thread but it seems nothing else?

It is very annoying and frustrating.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hello my DW DQ peeps!

I have been trying to get my gardens together on my off times from work...it has been rainy here, except for the last few days...So I'm way behind..


I had to bring Albert into work with me the other day...He needed an heartworm test(neg), so I could start him on the Iverhart. He did so well I couldn't believe how good he was..sat on my lap or in his crate next to my chair. We received a years worth of free Iverhart. , we also received free advantix too...So there are some perks from work..Not that much of a big deal, but I'll take it..Oh we also get 20% off anything we need from there. Including all vet visits! 50% after we reach a year of employment...that will be in June.

Your weekend sounds nice..Mike and I don't go anywhere, much anymore...
But we had friends over last night and spent the night playing poker and drinking wine...It was a very fun time..We only play for chips, but if it was money we were playing for I'd be the big winner!..

We do have plans to spend the day on May 15th, going to the chocolate and wine festival in Montrose, with the same friends..It should be fun....fattening but fun!

Good luck with your rehearsals When is the recital going to be?...

We don't have anything in May except mothers day...I already got my Mothers day present...I ordered it for myself...Its a laptop tote bag. It's plaid with Pluto on it...really nice....I originally ordered it to carry my scrub jacket,work notebook, lunch and travel cup to work, but it's way too big...Oh well I will have it to use for the next vacation to WDW.

I sent out the April newsletter to all of you..... the May one will be on the way ASAP...

Well I am off , to visit with the DGGs, and my DS...

Hey Dancing Queens

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We had a great long weekend. Paul & I had a nice time in Manchester. We didn't buy much, but we did enjoy a couple of those TGI cocktails

We've got another mad weekend coming up. We're going to see Rihanna on Friday night, then on Saturday night, Paul & I are going to see the Black Eyed Peas, so we're going to make an evening of it and go out for a meal and stay over, so that should be fun

I'm a little excited today, as my Cruise documents arrived this morning. I can't believe I will be back on the Disney Wonder 5 weeks today

Robin ~ I hope your problems with the DIS are gone now. I hate it when the boards are playing up

Betsy ~ I like the sound of your Mother's Day present, I bet it's really cute

Have fun at the Chocolate & Wine Festival, I wish I was going, especially as it contains two of my favourite things

Kelly ~ I miss you, come and tell us what you've been up to

Cruise documents are always exciting aren't they

Liz is home and has been since Wednesday night. She is staying until Monday afternoon. So we have been doing things together.

It's a rainy day here today and maybe for tomorrow too, so I think we will be doing some shopping.

I am still having DIS problems but I have switched from Firefox over to Internet Explorer and it works much better over here

Things are going well with me. Thank you...
Just kind of taking each day.....week....month ...as it comes. Enjoying the spring time when the weathers good, and happy to be working when its not...
I'm not really sure what we will be doing on Mothers Day.
I know I will be going to see my mom. We always take her out on Sunday, for lunch at McDonald's (she just loves the cheeseburger, and fries, with a child's choc. shake.)The girls come too.After that there are no plans. It's not suppose to be a very nice day weather wise..I think I heard only in the 50s, and windy. So maybe a movie at home..

I work tomorrow 8am-12pm. but the rest of the day is mine...and I have Sunday off, and Monday too!I just love my new schedule!

I hope you have all had a good week

I've had a great week, and it has flown by.

The Rihanna and Black Eyed Peas concerts were great, though the BEP were the best as they had us on our feet boogie-ing from the minute the concert started

Yesterday I had a lovely day with the girls. We had a girly day and went shopping and had a delish Thai lunch

So, what are your plans for the weekend ? We haven't got anything planned, so I guess it will revolve around Lost, 24 and the Formula 1 on TV

Friday again How can that possibly be. The weeks go rushing by so quickly.

The weather is finally a bit dryer today and the sun is shining but it is still windy and not quite warm enough.

The weekend looks at least to be dry which is great.

My brother is coming tomorrow to fix my waterfall in my pond. I will enjoy that.

Other than that, I have no major plans for the weekend.

Yay ! It's nearly the weekend Dancing Queens

What are you up to this weekend ? anything nice ?

It's going to be the warmest weekend of the year so far, it's going to get in the low 80's which is usually unheard of in May ~ we're loving this lovely weather

Tomorrow Paul & I are heading to Manchester for a bit of shopping, a nice meal and a couple of TGI Friday's cocktails

At 5am on Monday morning it's the finale of Lost, so I may get up early for that

Good morning Mandy, another weekend has come along.

It is a long weekend here and I don't have any major plans for it. I will just take it as it comes and see what I do. Rick has airplane plans for most of the weekend.

It has been a busy week for me.

On Wednesday night Alex called to tell me he was engaged He and Steph have been together for several years, so it is not really too surprising. No dates have been set but he did mention the possibility of a wedding at sea. Sound good to me, of course.

Yesterday was Liz's birthday, so we packed up the grandparents and went to have dinner out with her and Travis at the Chinese buffet. It was very nice.

Our weather here has finally taken a turn for the nicer. It was in the mid 80's yesterday but it is cooler today with the chance of some rain and also tomorrow. Then the outlook is fantastic again for next week.

It would be the perfect wedding for them...if you did a cruise wedding.
Today was one of our nicer days lately..I hope its the beginning of a weather trend...Sunny and warm.

Well I pinched a nerve in my back ( not sure how)and had shooting pain down the front of my thigh(two Mondays ago)when I tried to stand straight. I waited a few days to see if it would get better, but I was walking around like an old lady..all hunched over..(work was real fun) and had trouble sleeping at night. So I went to a chiropractor last Monday and he helped it a lot..I was able to straighten up and the shooting lessened, I still have a dull ache there after a day at work, but nowhere near the pain I was going through before.

Other than that I have been working...It seems to rain on every day off, so my gardens are not in great shape..the tractor is still in the shop, but the good news with that is the cost shouldn't be as bad as we thought it would. the not so good news is its going to take another week...so my grass is starting to look like hay...Too bad I don't still have the horses...LOL

I'm off to enjoy this beautiful evening, after after a long day...
Maybe a glass of wine on the deck!

Hello ladies.

We are in the middle of a nice warm summery streak of weather and I'm loving it.

Doing a lot of dancing to get ready for our dance recital that is on June 12.

I'm going away for the weekend to Ohio for an airplane thing and then again next weekend to Michigan and then the weekend after that is the dance recital.

Liz and Travis leave for 3 months away working at the summer camp this Sunday and are here right now. My mom is kitty sitting their two cats for the summer. Should be fun for her as she already has a cat of her own.

So busy days here.

What's new with everyone else.

Yay ! It's the weekend !!

I have got a busy week ahead of me. My weekend starts this afternoon with a visit to the cinema with Kerry to see Sex and the City, not that I want to see it, I wasn't impressed with the first one, but hopefully we will start off in true SatC style by having a couple of cocktails in the bar opposite before we go in

Over the weekend I will be washing/ironing and packing for my holiday next weekend (that is coming round far too quick) and we're also planning on getting our caravan out of storage for a good cleaning/airing (we haven't used it for about 3 or 4 years), as the girls are going away in it during the summer

Robin - Have a lovely weekend at the plane show, I hope the weather stays nice for you

Betsy - I hope the nerve in your back is better, what are you up to this weekend ?

Kelly - WHERE ARE YOU ??? I MISS YOU
