Hey everyone!!! Hope you all are doing well!! It's been really crazy here at work! We haven't had email/internet the past two days... They came by today and now I can finally catch up with work a little.

I stopped in and read the posts earlier this week!

Mandy, I've been scanning your tr and looking at the pics. I'll have to sit down and read it. Looking at your pineapple dessert has made me crave those things... you guys have me hooked on them! The girls looked like they had a blast, please tell everyone hello!

Robin, how is Liz faring in her new apartment? Hope she's 100% again. The H1N1 virus is trying to become a problem in our area, I hope the schools have jumped on top of trying to control it as best as they can. They are so strict about absents there.

Betsy, ! I know you're getting soooo excited now! Not much longer and you'll be doing the hula!

Well... gotta go! The kids have open house at their school! Not ready for them to go back just yet... (Neither is Colby ) Take care!

For some reason I think I remember Betsy doing that

I'm seriously considering and wanted to know what thoughts were on it.

I've always shied away from it because I thought you had to splash down into the water to land but apparently that is not the case.

If I'm going to land on the boat, then I'm all for it

Hello everyone!....Remember me?

I have been soo busy with the job, the house, and the soon to be trip...that I have been MIA...even on facebook...

We have ONLY 11 days until We're on the plane to Maui
We are very excited, also a little nervous...about the plane part...

We leave Binghamton at 6:00AM...and dont get to Maui until 3:45PM Maui time...which is 9:45PM Pa. time...

I off to try to play catch up on DWDQs...

Yes we did!...It was the one of the highlights of that trip...Being with all of you was the other!...You should do it!...You don't touch the water at all...Unless they decide to "dip" you a bit...Just your feet really...You can see sooo much from up there..and its soo peaceful...We loved it...Mike and I went together, but you can go solo if you'd like...I have some pics of it..but They are taken with a disposable underwater camera..( I didn't want to chance dropping my good one)...If I can find them ..Ill scan and post them...
It is so totally worth the cost!...

I haven't gotten a chance to look at your TR...I'll try today...
Work has been pretty busy..but its a lot of fun...I played with seven boxer pups the other day....only a few days old...and there were 2 white ones!???...I never heard of white boxers...too cute!

I offered to make a slideshow for the waiting room TV ..of assorted pet pictures with a few "Southtown Vet" ads thrown in...They liked the idea so much that they want me to make one for our local movie theater too!...
I also had to make a bio of myself for our website...Im not so sure I like this idea, But ya gotta do what you gotta do....I'll post a link for you all, when it's done...

Hope your start of school goes well...Th DGKs started a couple of weeks ago here....Julia has been to collage in Ithica NY...for a few weeks now also...I miss her..But I do get to see what she is up to on FB...She is studying pre-med, and has three jobs there too..so she is a busy girl..BUT I'm sure she is finding time for fun also...LOL

Well I'm off to help cut and stack firewood for this winter...
Its starting to get quite cool in the evenings here, but the days are still very nice...as a matter of fact they are nicer now, then they were this summer! Not that Ive had time to be too bothered by that fact ...LOL

I hope you all have been having a good labor day weekend...
Back to work tomorrow!

I've finally got over the Girly Weekend - LOL. The weather has been lovely here. Yesterday I got the sun lounger out and spent a couple of hours reading in the sun

Robin ~ Lovely pics, you did a great job on Liz's room, it looks really nice

Betsy ~ I can't believe how quick your trip has come round. I wish I was coming with you. You're going to have a fantastic time

Kelly ~ Are the kids back at school yet ? Becky went to her first induction day yesterday, and she has one tomorrow, then both girls start properly on Monday

Anyway, I'm off to town with my mum this morning .. have a lovely day girls

Hola chicas!!

I've misssed chatting with you all!! I'm looking forward to vacationing in Feb... I know it's still a ways away... but as busy as things have been, I can't wait to sit back and relax a little.

Robin: CW, DM, DD & I all went parasailing at CC as well. Betsy was lucky to not have gotten wet... they dipped CW & I in the water and since I'm short, it was easy to get my bottom wet It was very smooth going off and back on the boat. They were very polite. I would do it again, Betsy is right... it's worth the money! Btw... saw your pics of Liz's room. Love your helpers!

Mandy: The kids started back this past Tuesday. Carolin got sick everywhere that morning, she was very anxious about being a first year student in high school. She really enjoys it though, as for Chad, he's excited about speaking with a Coast Guard recruiter next week. You guys may see him down to PC when he graduates, it'll give me a great excuse to go cruising more! Looks like you ladies had a great time on your girls only trip... now what kind of gesture did you make to the taxi driver? Good luck to the girls on Monday!

Betsy: Oh, I'm soooo excited for you!! I can't believe your Maui trip is almost here! You're almost less than a week away! Wow, three jobs!!! And classes... homework... and of course the social scene! Good luck to Julia juggling all of those things, once she's finished all of her school it'll be well worth it!

So what do you think of the new 2011 destinations of the Wonder ? Paul & I would love to do the Panama Canal sailing in January 2011. It will be interesting to see how much it will cost

Have you been on-line on the DCL website and filled in your Castaway Club details ? It's really cool, it lists all the cruises you have been on and any future cruises you may have booked. I found out that I have taken 8 cruises, and I was a Gold member, which means I can make Palo bookings at 105 day - woohoo !!

Well Kerry is back to college and Becky starts college properly today, so I'm looking forward to some normality after they have been off for 3 months

Yes we could.

But we weren't all that impressed with dinner last time we went.

We were wondering if they would switch brunch for the dinner, because we had decided that we wanted to do brunch with Tom and Ann.

I don't see why they wouldn't because it's the same price but who knows

If they won't switch we might just have to do brunch AND dinner to take advantage of the free perk of being platinum.

Platinum I see also has priority boarding which I don't think we will be able to use this time since we will be with Tom and Ann and we certainly won't want to board ahead of them.

It is a nice bonus to have though.

I'm wondering what the difference will be in the "gifts" left in your cabin for the different levels.

Since they are starting next month, I'm sure there will be plenty of reports on it.
