7th January 2007, Dancing Queens Thread CONTINUED

 Aww thanks Robin. There's lots of photos on my Facebook page now if you'd like to take a look :)

Lovely photos Kelly, Carolin looks gorgeous and I love her flowers too ::yes::

Well it's nearly 3pm, the house is clean and tidy (makes a nice change), and after it poured with rain all morning, it's lovely and sunny now. Becky is just starting on her hair and make-up and everyone should be arriving here around 5pm, and the limo is picking them up at 6pm
Thanks!! I'll pass the compliments on to her!:thumbsup2

Glady the sun came out for them... they had rain the morning of too! It was pouring while they were getting their hair done, then it stopped just in time for them to get in the car :thumbsup2

Becky looks gorgeous in that dress! I love the color! And I love the pic of Kerry, Becky and her date! Everyone looks adorable!:goodvibes

Kelly, I can't believe how much Carolin has grown up. She's turned into a beautiful young lady.
Thanks to you, too!;) I'll let pass this on as well, she is growing up way too fast!

We dropped Chad off Sunday at Duke, it was a 9 hour drive there and back... we are leaving tomorrow night to pick him up. I've been missing him :guilty:

Hi Betsy and hi Cally! Nice to see ya pop in!

Hope you all are having a great day!:grouphug:

 Thanks Kelly ~ Yes that dress is a lovely colour, I was really surprised that she chose it, but it really suited her :)

The girls said that they had been chatting to Chad on MSN the other day, it's great that they're keeping in touch

Robin ~ Are you ready for your vacation ? Please tell me you're packed :rotfl2::rotfl2: Do you leave on Friday or Saturday ? I hope you have a great trip, and I look forward to seeing all your photos :thumbsup2 Have fun

Betsy ~ I bet you're as busy as ever. I hope you're enjoying your new job at the vets

Have a great day girls :)

Here's a photo that Becky had taken on the night with her friends, she picked it up from school today, so I thought I would share it with you

Mandy, I'm glad to hear that they are in touch still as well! Mom & Dad were talking the other day about planning our next cruise  To my suprise, DD said he's ready to leave tomorrow... he must be ready for a vacation!:goodvibes Thanks for sharing the group pic, what a gorgeous group of kids!:thumbsup2

Robin, so funny we are alot alike. We left Wed. night to go to Duke U to pick Chad up. CW, myself, & Carolin were going to drive down and spend the night at a hotel. I left work an hour early to go home and pack. Even though it was just for a night... Hope you have a safe trip there and back! You and Liz enjoy every moment of your mommy/daughter trip!;)

Betsy, hope you are doing well! Sure you've been busy now that you're working to the vet's office! :flower3:

Hi Girls

 Yay, it's nearly the weekend

I've had a lovely day today. Me, Kerry & Becky had a girly shopping day. We took the train to Leicester, did a bit of shopping and had a yummy all you can eat Chinese buffet. It was a great day, and I really enjoyed having them both to myself for the day :)

Kelly ~ Did Chad enjoy his soccer camp ? Is he going back next week

Robin ~ Have a great time in WDW. Give Mickey and Stitch a big hug from me. I look forward to seeing your photos when you get back

Betsy ~

What are your plans for the weekend girls (well I know what you're doing Robin :rotfl2::rotfl2:). Paul & I are going to Birmingham for a nice meal tomorrow night and the girls are having a friend over for a sleepover

Have a great weekend girls :)

I'm all packed and ready to go.

Liz is home from camp now and having a nice bath (no such luxury at camp as a bathtub).

We are going out to get a quick dinner when she is done and then come back and finish up the last bits before we leave.

Nice daughter of mine brought all her dirty laundry home from camp:eek:

It reeks of campfire.

They have laundry service there so I don't know why she didn't use it but I've got the washing machine running and we will see how much we can accomplish before we leave.

Catch y'all laters.

Robin, I'm sitting here, very jealous, thinking of all of the fun you are having!! Can't wait to see some pics when you get back!:goodvibes

Mandy, Chad had a blast a soccer camp... though he said it was nice to be home again and relax. His camp was just for the week, he said that was enough :rotfl:

Well... our whole family has been chatting about cruising again and there has been an interest in taking a 7 night cruise this time. We price DCL vs. RCCL and looked at onboard fun with each ship. The Freedom class of ships appealed very highly to the older kids and the price was much less. (Chad has already asked about Kerry and Becky going... ;))

Am I bad for jumping ship to RC? No pun intended...:rolleyes1

P. S. Betsy... where are you?? We all miss you!

Kelly ~ I'm glad that Chad enjoyed his Summer camp. What have the kids got planned for the Summer ? ~ when do they go back to school ?

When are you planning your next family Cruise for ? I can totally understand why you'd be looking at other Cruise lines - especially when you see the price differences

Robin ~ I hope you're having a great time. I can't wait to hear all about your trip and seeing your pics

Betsy ~ I hope you're OK, and finding some time for you and Mike. It won't be long till your vacation too

Well, we're going to see Harry Potter tonight. Paul & I are going at 7.15pm, and the girls are going with some friends after 9pm

Have a good day girls :)

Good Morning 'Dancing Queens'

Betsy ~ That's great news about your job at the vets. I hope you continue to enjoy it :)

Do you know when Robin is due home ?

Robin ~ I hope you're having a great time still :)

Kelly ~

What have you got planned for the weekend ? We haven't got any plans, so I'll be wishing for the next 3 weeks to fly by, so I can get to WDW ;)

Have a great weekend girls :)

Kelly ~ I'm glad that Chad enjoyed his Summer camp. What have the kids got planned for the Summer ? ~ when do they go back to school ?
Thanks! Chad will be working most of the summer and playing golf. He really enjoys playing golf... never thought I would see that. Carolin has been hanging out with her friends and going to the carnival and beach. They start school again the first or second Tuesday in Sept. Can't remember which right now :upsidedow

When are you planning your next family Cruise for ? I can totally understand why you'd be looking at other Cruise lines - especially when you see the price differences
Our next cruise is Feb 7 on Carnival Sensation. This time it will be CW's family going. The RC cruise will be the second week in Jan 2011. There were three things that had us excited about RC Freedom ship...

1) price looked nice
2) activities on the ship (the flowrider, rock wall, putt putt golf, ice rink)
3) a change in ports (Labadee, Jamaica, Cozumel, Grand Caymans)

I still love DCL and will still cruise with them

Well, we're going to see Harry Potter tonight. Paul & I are going at 7.15pm, and the girls are going with some friends after 9pm
How was the movie Mandy? We stayed home last night and watched Paul Blart the Mall Cop... had some pretty funny parts in it. We are just hanging around the house this weekend taking it easy! Here's some pd for your 3 weeks to fly by pixiedust:

:cheer2:Glad to hear things are going so well for you!!! An animal lover like you able to work somewhere that helps animals! Have you adopted any little creatures yet?

Hi Kelly ~ your cruise plans sound great, especially the one going to Jamaica :thumbsup2

I really enjoyed the Harry Potter movie. It was the best one yet, and it was funny too (but not as good as the book)

Have a lovely Sunday girls :)

Hello ladies, we are back as of last night.

It was an interesting vacation to say the least. Will explain more in a bit.

Kelly, I say go for any cruise line that sounds like fun.

We've done Royal Caribbean and it's fine. Of course they don't do it quite like Disney but then a change sometimes is nice.

I have good news tho...A receptionist at my vet job left and I now have more hrs offered to me there...So I have quit McDonalds and I now work for the vets four days a week...:cool1::thumbsup2..

Congratulations on the better job and quitting McDonald's Betsy.
