I just wanted to tell you all I officially have the vet receptionist job..I had a trial day on Weds...but I got the call this morning and Im in!...Yahoo!

Robin, cool pics of the crane and machinary!! It's so neat watching them move about... I can't wait to see the Transformers new movie! Enjoy your weekend at the airfield!!

Soooo glad it's friday! We have 3 soccer games tomorrow! Our U16 is in first place which is pretty cool since we have played Maryland state champs and Deleware regional champs. Hopefully we can clinch first and end our season on a good note!

It is a good fit for me..even if it is only two days a week and I still have to keep my McDs job for now...They are planning on expanding so Im hoping it will be for more time in the future...

Had a great time with Britt, tonight we went out to dinner with her and family...Im really tired after work and the evening...

I have to work at McDs on Sunday this weekend..but Im off tomorrow...I don't start the vet job until Tues., and then its closed on the 4th of July..BUT I HAVE to work at McDs the 4th...Mandatory...Oh well..

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

Well I have to work today ....
My first Sunday..I will miss the girls for most of the day...But I'll get home at 2PM..So alls not lost..They dont normally go home until after dinner..

Its a very nice sunny day here...
Yesterday I had off and friends came over, we hiked to the falls and played in them for the afternoon..Boy the water was really COLD..LOL
But we had a lot of fun!..I have pics Ill post when I get the time..

I hope you're all having nice weekends. I'm having quite a boring one, as poor Paul is suffering with his back. He can't sit, drive or walk for long, and I'll be glad to get him to the doctors tomorrow. Thankfully the weather is nice, so I have had an hour in the garden

Betsy - I hope your time at McDonalds flies by, so you can enjoy your time with your grandkids this afternoon. I look forward to seeing your photos

Robin - I hope you're having fun at the airfield and that the weather is nice for you

Mandy, so sorry to hear about Paul's back troubles.

There has been a lot of that going on in this house over the past years.

I hope he gets fixed up real soon and is all ship shape before your vacation.

How did the soccer games go Kelly. I hope they did well.

Betsy, did you enjoy the part of the day that you got to spend with the girls?

The weather here has been quite warm (HOT) and awfully windy to go with it.

I had a nice time at the airfield. Lots of fun with different friends that we don't see a lot.

Nice to be home again too though.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with the specialist over my funny ECG test results.

Will let you know how that goes tomorrow.

We are heading out to Indiana at the last minute.

We are slow at work and the US National airplane championships are happening now.

Robin ~ Have a great time at the airplane championships, I love last minute getaways, so have fun and I hope the weather's nice for you

I took Paul to the docs this morning, and he says that he's pulled a muscle and he has to take really strong ibuprofen. He's a little better today, but thank goodness he's got plenty of time to get better over the next 6 weeks or so

It's been hot, hot, hot today, a little too hot without the Goofy Pool to keep me cool

Our U16 team is celebrating their first place win!!! What day they had!! Out of ten players, two went on vacation... so that left eight players for the game. Out of the eight, two were late for the first game... our team didn't want to forfeit so they played six players vs. eight players on the other team. We had no subs to give our guys relief, they had six...

They played the game in the hot sun and won =) The second game we played eight vs. eight with no subs... they had eight subs on the bench. Our boys came through with another victory!! Chad was on cloud nine scoring a few goals in both games!

Mandy, glad to hear that Paul's back is feeling better! Hope he's completely healed very soon!! Not much longer before you'll be hanging out in the Goofy pool!! Lucky you!

Robin, hope you are having fun in Indiana!! You guys have a safe trip back! I just remembered you have a WDW coming up soon, you'll be packing up as soon as you get back from Indiana!

Betsy, oooh I am so jealous! You have waterfalls near where you are? Pleeeaaaase post some pics! I miss the mountains where I use to live, we would visit Crabtree Falls alot! They aren't tall but they are beautiful!

Yes the water falls are at Salt Springs State Park..We live about 1 1/2 mile down the road from the top falls. An easy walk..
Its about 1000 ft to the start of the park property and all dirt road and countryside...The state park is over 900 acres..
I like to call it my back yard...LOL

We made it to Indiana and back again.

Just in time to pack the trailer up tomorrow and head out to an airplane competition

I will tell you that it was darn chilly in Indiana the past few days while we were there

Your waterfalls look very inviting Betsy.

Hey Girls

It is sooooo hot here, I usually don't get these kind of temperatures until I'm in Orlando. It's nearly in the 90's today, and boy could I do with a pool to dive in right now

I've been so busy at the moment. I've been tidying up the garden and having a mega clean up ready for Becky's Prom tomorrow night. I'm so excited for them. There's 8 kids leaving from here in a limo, they have an hours drive around and arrive at the Prom venue for 7pm, then they get the limo back here at 11.30pm ~ no doubt I'll be boring you all with all my photos tomorrow night

Betsy ~ Your photos are lovely, I wish I could get into that waterfall right now. I hope you're enjoying your new job at the vets too

Robin ~ Hello/Goodbye Glad you got home safely, enjoy your weekend away too

Kelly ~ Well done to the soccer team, they did really well

What are your plans for the weekend girls ?

We're hoping to get to see Transformers now that Paul's back is better, then I'm just relaxing after the madness of the Prom

Soccer is done until September!!! Unfortunately we lost both our U18 games... Chad was upset too... missed both games, got called into work last minute. But the guys are happy with how they played for the session.

Betsy, those pics look so refreshing! I wish I could just hop right into the computer and lay in the waterfall Love it!

Robin, take some time to relax during your busy trips! Good luck on the next competition!

Mandy, can't wait to see and hear all about Becky's prom!!! I can't wait to see the pics!! I'm glad you said something about her prom, I forgot to share Carolin's formal pics with you all...

Well it's nearly 3pm, the house is clean and tidy (makes a nice change), and after it poured with rain all morning, it's lovely and sunny now. Becky is just starting on her hair and make-up and everyone should be arriving here around 5pm, and the limo is picking them up at 6pm

Goodness me, I'm shattered It's Becky's Prom tonight, and it's been a mental evening. The kids started to arrive around 5pm. Their parents were welcome too, so the alcohol has been flowing for a while. The limo left around 6.20pm and they looked like they were having a great time (I was too, thanks to the white zinfandel and liebfraumilch )
