Thanks you guys for your concerns on Carolin! I've sent her all of your well wishes!:goodvibes

She is doing well, all of her test results came back fine other than her head ct scan... we are still waiting to hear from them. I'm sure that one is fine as well since they have yet to call back.

She is still having a hard time moving her head and is coping with pain. I've made her stay home to recoop over the weekend. Friday nite, another cheerleader was injured in the same stunt... unfortunately she broke her #6 vertabrae and is unable to cheer anymore.

I'm hoping to have a calm week ahead of me as I've bubble-wrapped my little princess!:rotfl:

I like your answers :thumbsup2 Especially the first one, I would love to see business pick up a little more here and I would also love to see ya cruising with us in January!:goodvibes

Hi Betsy, Robin, and Mandy!! I hope you all are having a great day!!:grouphug:

BTW... Betsy, your BIL pics of the northern lights are beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Kelly, so good to hear that Carolin is not seriously injured (hopefully at least).

I'm sure that you would have heard by now if there was something terribly wrong with her tests.

That poor other girl. Carolin should feel lucky that she got off with only minor injuries.

Sounds like they need to rethink that stunt.

Rick also loves that Porky Pig Christmas song.

I've never heard it:confused3

I agree with you Robin!

Porky Pig's Blue Christmas has always been a fav of mine! It brings back memories of the cartoons I loved to watch! I've pasted a link if you want to listen to the song...

Hey Girls

Betsy ~ I don't envy you getting all that snow. If we got 5 - 7 inches, then the country would come to a standstill, as we're hopeless at keeping the roads clear when the snow is bad. Stay warm and have a lovely week with Mike

Robin ~ LOL, your Christmas answers made me smile. It looks like you were having fun on your computer with all the different symbols

Kelly ~ I hope Carolin is feeling a lot better today and that you haven't ran out of bubble wrap :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'm sure that if there were any problems with her test results they would've got back to you straight away

All is well over here. The weather is cold but dry. We didn't do anything exciting over the weekend - but it still flew by

Have a great week girls :thumbsup2

Good morning ladies.

It has been mild but cool and quite wet here the past few days.

A mixture of snow and rain.

Right now there is a bit of snow on the ground but not in my yard:confused3

Snow must know that I don't like it :rotfl:

I've got tons of things that I could and should be doing around here but I'm not sure yet what exactly they will be.

I don't have a lot of ambition today. :cat:

That's a lovely picture Mandy.

I did my usual Thursday stuff, dance classes in the morning and went to work afterwards.

It's been quite a nice day here today.

The sun has been shining for part of the day and the temperatures are in the low 40's.

So I've not got too much to complain about ......... except for..............

:rotfl2:

Hi DWDQ's

Betsy & Kelly ~ I hope you had a great Thanksgiving yesterday, and that you didn't eat too much :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Mandy, I'm glad that card arrived and so quickly too.:thumbsup2

I love all of your decorations.

I wish I had the patience and the inclination to decorate like that.

Your Disney ornaments are so nice.

I love that Stitch mug too.

Did it come from WDW or one of the Disney stores? Do you know?

Hey gals!! Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes!! We did end up eating too much and unfortunately... I just ate too much leftovers for lunch!:rolleyes1 This isn't gonna help trying to get back into my clothes for the cruise.:headache:

Wednesday, I got really frustrated with Carolin's pediatrician. After a few phone calls concerning Carolin still in pain and not moving much, I decided to look for another doctor.

Another pediatrician worked her in, he seemed very concerned that she is still experiencing numbness in her fingers and toes. He told us she had suffered a mild concussion and whiplash. Within an hour after her appt, his office had her appt for an orthopedic pediatric sports specialist in Virginia Beach and he even took the time to speak to me about the appt. Wow!:goodvibes

So Monday morning Carolin has an appt and will undergo further test to see exactly what's going on and the next step she needs to take. She's very disappointed as she's been told cheerleading is not an option for at least the next 3 weeks. Her competition is in 1 1/2 weeks. I'm happy... I don't want to risk her getting hurt worst.

Now that I've rambled on, I hope all of you are doing well! Anybody have plans this weekend? We'll hopefully be home decorating the rest of the house now that the tree is up!:goodvibes

I know it's probably hard for Carolin to have to miss her competition but it will be much better for her to do that than to risk hurting herself even more.

If I had known just how hard gymnastics was going to be on Liz's body, I might not have let her get so heavy into it.

It's good that Carolin has an appointment so quickly.

Hopefully they will be able to figure out what is wrong and fix her up real quick:thumbsup2

Hi Robin!

Thanks, I hope they get her straight quickly too! It's ashame that this wasn't the case earlier on... she probably would be recovering alot quicker! At least she's a step further at this point.:thumbsup2
