7th January 2007, Dancing Queens Thread CONTINUED

Good morning fellow DQs....
Its a great morning for me...as I have been very stressed the last couple of weeks...
You all know about my mom having to go into her new home...BUT what I didnt tell anyone was that I went in for tests a couple of weeks ago...They thought I had a small chance of having Cancer... ...
and needed I needed to have a biopsy done...Well I had to wait til yesterday for the results for it....
The results are that its not cancer......THANK YOU LORD!
So Ill be here to bug you all for alot longer....
Mike took me out to eat to celebrate last night... ...
So Life is good....

I have no real plans for today, except to go visit my mom,later,.... clean, and pay a few bills...not to exciting...but.... Ill take it!
It suppose to go into the 60s today...so I may even go for a walk to Salt Springs with Albert...

I got an email this morning from Rick.

A man that works for a company that we do work for died last night.

Apparently he was working in his backyard with a chainsaw and it kicked back and slit his throat

Can you imagine his poor family has to live with that image

Life is short, and you just never know what is going to get you in the end.

So my friends, live for today because you never know when your last today is going to be

Morning everyone!! Hope you guys are doing well!

Actually I think when we went it worked out to our advantage

When we pulled up to the terminal there was this HUGE lineup waiting to get inside to check in.

I thought for sure that we'd be standing there for hours.

But because we were on the Royal Caribbean shuttle we seemed to get right in

They took our luggage for us and told us to go in a certain door and get into the line.

Hey worked for us

Felt weird though getting in when the others were waiting outside.

That would be nice if it worked out that way! I'm sure we'd get some interesting looks from people!

Kelly - Just 4 more days to go, you lucky girl, I wish it was me going. Are you all packed now ?

Not officially... I tried on a red dress Sunday nite, oh... my... gosh! What have my children done to my chest area! There is not enough support in that dress (it's a halter dress) to keep the girls northbound!

I've found two other formal dresses to wear... now to decide which one!

I'm hoping to be finished by tommorrow nite for sure!

Besty! So glad to hear that everything is all clear for you! And I'm also glad to know that you'll be bugging us for a long time!

The weather here has been miserable, it's been in the high 40's... overcast... and drizzly at times.

I promise to post lots of pics and let you guys know about our excursions and adventures! I can't wait!

You could get a bra, that is a halter type...I have one and it works fine...
Believe me if I didnt use it...it would look like my knees were too high....LOL

Oh dear, I think we're all a saggy lot

Well it's another overcast, cool, drizzly day here! It's been the same weather since Sunday... no sun Tommorrow we should see it peaking from behind the clouds!

I took Duster to the vet for her first vaccinations today.

They wanted to draw some blood to do a test so they took her to the back.

I could hear her crying and almost screaming back there

I'm wondering what in the heck they are doing to my sweet little kitty

The vet tech pokes her head back into the exam room and tells me that Duster is putting up such a huge fuss and they have only put the alcohol swab on her skin

When they actually stuck the needle in her to get blood she didn't even let out a small peep

What a silly little girl she is

After all the drama she is doing just fine.

She weighs 1 and 3/4 pounds and seems to be very healthy so far.

The past few days have been wonderful weather wise here.

Lots of sunshine and tolerable warm temperatures.

I'm loving it.

My shopping day today....
With a little twist...I'm going to go pick up my Mom and THEN go pick up my DGS...Go to town and have the normal day...THEN, go drop off my DGS and swing around and drop off Mom, THEN home!...

Its more driving, but I'd hate for my mom to lose her shopping day...Ill do it as long as she can go with us...

Yay, it's Friday, it's nearly the weekend

Paul & I are going to watch a rugby game tomorrow at Twickenham, I'm really looking forward to it, as I've never been there before
