Robin, sorry to hear the news about having to have the biopsy. Try and put it out of your mind if you can! Here's a big hug for you... (pretend that I just gave you a big hug that lasted for a looooong time!) Have fun shopping for your trailer! CW & I have always wanted to get one, but we'll have to wait until the kids are a bit older.

Mandy, I love that dress you bought... it is so cute! Did you guys end up seeing Vantage Point? CW & I saw it a few weeks ago, it was a good movie but the whole theater sighed when it kept rewinding over and over to show different points of view. When is Becky's official bday?

Betsy, hope you are enjoying your week! You sound like you really enjoy wild birds. I love seeing the different birds on our farm, we've got a few bald eagles and a huge family of Canadian Geese back on our land. They are so neat to watch!

I forgot so I asked her and here is her reply:

I was born (and lived until I got married at 21) in Welwyn Garden City, it's about 20 miles north of London. Then lived near Bedford for 2 years. In St Neots for 9 years then moved to Sywell, just outside Northampton where we lived until moving here.

Had a GREAT weekend!.....

I called to see how my mom is fairing...and everything is just ducky....

Im going shopping with my sister...


Our plans for WDW may have changed a little ..WE will still be going ...BUT we may be a smaller party...

Betsy, glad to hear that you had a great weekend.

Also good to hear that Mom is doing really well and being enjoyed in her new home away from home.

It just might be the solution that was so desperately needed.

I'm not really worrying about it...... yet anyways. I read up about it on the internet and it doesn't sound too bad but you have to take it easy for about a week afterwards. So I guess I won't be having it done until after my dance recital in the middle of June. No time to take a weeks break at the end of May or beginning of June when there is a recital coming up.

If you don't get time to shop for your shoes, you will still be able to go on your cruise and have a great time

Hi Kelly, no we didn't get to see Vantage Point as we went out for a meal instead, hopefully we'll see it soon

Becky's birthday is on Wednesday, but as it's a school day, she'll be celebrating with some toboganning with friends and a sleepover on Friday

I hope you get to do some shoe shopping soon, a girl can never have too many shoes

I bought a nice pair of shoe/boots...black of course....Nothing fancy, just something I can wear with my nice pants and go to town....

We went out to dinner with Mikes DB and DSIL last night...it was yummy...I had tortilinni primavera alfradio....
Good co. , aand good food, made for a very nice night out....

Im trying to get a hair appt. today, or tomorrow, so I can maybe get it done before my mom gets home on Thurs..... heres hoping!

AND I have alot of Easter dinner shopping to do...I cant believe it snuck up on me...and will be here this weekend.... ..
I am praying for good weather as the kids havent been able to have their hunt for the last two years because of bad weather....

Need to go and pick up my inlaws mail and water their plants.

They come home from Florida tomorrow night, so it will be a trip to the Detroit airport to pick them up.

Well it's Becky's 15th birthday today. I can't believe she's 15 - where has time gone ?

She's had some great presents. She's mad on Transformers, so she's had a Transformers voice changer mask, Transformers XBox game, t-shirt, film photo and yet more Transformers stuff

She's done really well, and she's looking forward to going Tobogganing with her friends on Friday and having her sleepover

Here's a pic of her wearing her Transformers mask, she loves it

I've had a busy morning so far. I went to town to pick up some bits and pieces for Becky's sleepover and then my friend Nat (who I met through the DIS) came over for a chat and a cuppa tea

Carolin found out she made the softball team, they have a scrimmage game tommorrow... they are playing the high school's softball team! They are just wee little middle school girls!

Chad's games for high school soccer have begun already, his position is a first string striker, so he's really excited!

Our weather man has, what he calls, a "snow hope index". It is a scale from 0 - 10 with 0 being no chance of snow to 10 being a pretty decent snow storm. So far so good on the basement Kelly.

I checked and didn't find any wet spots and the wet area is of course where we always walk thru. So it's kind of hard to miss it when it does get wet.

The farmers better not complain about a lack of moisture for this winter.

We made it to Detroit and back again

Rick's parents are safely home.

Did I ever tell you guys that I'm planning a trip to Disney this fall

I'm going to go with my mom.

I had promised her a trip when my dad went into the nursing home and now she feels ready to go.

Liz and I had so much fun at the Halloween party that I wanted to take my mom to it.

We will most likely be going at the end of September.

Robin, glad your basement didn't get soaked! The weather in the states have been horrible. I'm hoping it won't hit our area like it has other areas. I feel bad for all of those people out west. Have fun planning your Sept trip!
