A DIS friend of mine has been to Disneyland Paris, and she got it for me .. he's so cute, I'm thrilled, it's made my day

It's almost the weekend ~ yay !!

Have you got any plans ?

We're heading down to London tomorrow to see Britney Spears. We're really looking forward to seeing her, it should be a good show. We're going to stay down there tomorrow night, then head to a shopping mall on Sunday before coming home

Hey Mandy, how was Brittany?

It was a busy weekend for me.

I spent most of it out at the airplane field with the trailer.

Saturday was our annual dance recital so back into town for most of the day. Two shows, one at 1pm and the other at 7pm. So busy day.

Then afterwards back out to the trailer for the rest of the weekend.

We are just getting home now.

We had a lovely weekend thanks Robin

The Britney concert was good, I was boogie-ing all evening, but the fact that she mimed all the way through it was rather disappointing

The hotel we stayed at was very nice, and we had a delish all you can eat Chinese buffet before the concert

Did you enjoy your dance recitals ? I hope so

I'm glad you had a nice weekend. Betsy & Kelly, I hope your weekend went well too

Hello ladies,
We had a great weekend...
Got a lot of work done..cleared out a part of our woods, in our back yard, and turned it into a swing area..
hung a bench swing, an older child swing, and a baby swing, from a few trees..

We also made a BBQ pit, for a grad party we are going to throw for Julia this coming Sat...
Her graduation is at 11AM, and the party is at 4PM..We are going to have chicken spiedies, and grilled veggies...also hot dogs for the kids who would rather have them..and of course a cake..
We will probably have about 25+ people...We have a volley ball set, and are hoping to get our hands on a horseshoe set, if we can find someone who has one we can borrow..
It should be a fun time!...
In the mean time I worked today, 8hrs..I will work tomorrow, 5hrs., I'm off weds., but I have an interview at a veterinarian at 6PM...(pray for me to get the vet tech job)..Then I will be working Thursday , and Friday...
So Mike is doing most of the work for the party...MY MAN!

How did the recital go Robin?...

I'm glad you enjoyed the BS concert Mandy..I think Id be pretty peeved, if she lip synced, the whole thing tho... I know she sings well, so I don't understand the need...

It's been crazy busy around here lately.

The dance recital seemed to go quite well.

We all had a lot of fun with it.

Can't wait for the DVD to come out so that I can actually see how awful my dancing really was

Mandy, I think I'd be pretty peeved too, to go to a concert and the person doesn't actually sing.

If you want to listen to a recording, you can just as easily stay home to do that

Betsy, Wishing you good things with your job interview.

Tomorrow, Rick, Liz and I are heading out to Chicago to look at some machinery for the business.

We will be gone from mid day until probably late in the day on Wednesday.

Kelly ~ Where are you ? I miss you What have you been up to ? How's that cute puppy of yours ?

It has been so busy round here lately. Last night Paul & I went to a concert at the local soccer stadium where Take That were performing. Well after Britney's lip syncing concert, these guys were absolutely brilliant, and they sang live too (but still not as entertaining as Pink was last month )

Today was Kerry's last day at college, and tonight the students are showing off their work at a club near the college, which I'm looking forward to seeing

Becky has finished school too, apart from a couple of lessons next Tuesday and her last exam on Wednesday. I can't believe that they'll be off for nearly 3 months, and then Becky will start college in September, and Kerry will be in her final year of her course

Our trip to Chicago was successful.

I got to have dinner with a fellow threadkiller while I was there and that was great too.

Now tomorrow we are off again for an airplane competition in Ottawa and also a stop along the way to deliver a television to Alex.

So, another busy weekend coming up for me.

This was supposed to be a quiet week for me and I've hardly had a spare minute to breathe

Kerry's 'showreel' went really well, and we got to see little clips of the filming they had done this year. I've popped some photos on Facebook, though the girls look rather tipsy, as they had been at the club a few hours before we arrived

Robin ~ Kerry is taking Media Production. She's got another year of her course to go, and then she wants to take another 2 year course after that (I think I'll need to rob a bank when that course starts ). At the moment, she is thinking of working behind the camera, so imagine how cool it would be if she ended up working for Disney !!

As for Becky, she will be starting a 2 year Photography course in September (as long as she passes her exams)

We had a really nice weekend away.

We got to visit with Alex for a bit on both the trip to Ottawa and the trip home.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous, could not complain at all.

It finally feels like summer

I spent a lot of time doing nothing this past weekend.

We had a very quiet weekend, as Paul worked for most of it. We did get to go to the cinema and see Angels & Demons, which was very good

How are your vacation plans coming along ? What are you planning on doing ?

We don't really have any vacation plans set in stone.

We arrive about 10:30 am on the Saturday morning and leave the next Saturday morning about the same time.

We are mainly planning on going with the flow, doing what we want, when we want to.

We have park hopper passes with 5 days left on them from our last visit and plan on using them.

That leaves us with about a day and a half of unscheduled park time. I'm sure we will find ways to fill that.

Liz would like to eat at the castle as she calls it because she's never done it before but I haven't made any reservations so who knows about that?

Liz says she wants to get up early, go to the parks, stay late and get up the next day and do it again

Been busy with work and Julia's graduation...I have pics to post..if I can find the time.....

She started the ceremonies, singing the National Anthem with a friend..and did very nicely...

I start my reception job at the vets..next week...only two days a week, but the pay is better then McDs...and it could turn into more..until it does Im still keeping my McDs job...
