7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

yes ...My mother has been living with us for about 10 yrs. now....
She has alzheimer's...So is unable to live alone....She will be 85 YO this Aug..
Drives me crazy most of the time , but I love her
My WDW vacations are my R&R...

What a sweet daughter you are! I'm hoping to see a cure/treatment for alzheimer's soon...

Anytime you need to chat about anything... we are all here for ya!

And yes... Mickey helps us all take our worries away! For the moment anyway!

Kelly - Did you get to the cinema last night ? I hope you had a lovely evening

We didn't get to the movies that night... we went birthday shopping for Chad instead.

We decided to go to the movies in Salisbury instead and watched Rambo. CW has been waiting for that to come out since he's a big Sylvester Stallone fan!

My DGGs are getting very excited about our June trip...They were watching last years planning DVD...and getting all giggley...It was cute!...
Britt picked her birthday dinner restraunt. The place in Italy (I think its now called"Tutta Italia"???)because the Italian waiters are in her words"hot"...LOL Of course we have never been there befor with the girls, so I guess she is just assuming this to be the case....LOL..
Im just happy she finally made a choice

Anyway this is what Im doing today...
Making the ADRs for that....and
Looking into places to stay on Hana . The other side of Maui from that hotel I showed you all....Thought maybe we would split our stay, to cut down on driving time...

Mandy, I've enjoyed reading your posts! How cool to get 2 days unexpectantly at CC and how cool to catch a pic of the ship sailing thru!

Will the ship just stay in place for tommorrow as well?

I am sooo tired today!! We've been busy redoing Carolin's room. She had decided a few months back that it was time to have a more mature looking bedroom.

It was painted a wild lilac color with Belle being the theme in her room. She has white bedroom furniture in her room.

On Sunday, CW broke through the wall next to her room (which use to be Chad's old room) and opened it up to give her a study/sitting area.

I couldn't bear to watch that so I left to pick up paint and a new comforter set with matching curtains.

We have been busy since then trying to finish painting and organizing... some of her furniture is in the hallway towards our bedroom and alot of her old stuff is sitting in my bedroom. It looks like we've been hit by a tornado I'm ready to get this done!

I love CW and this has nothing to do with him... but I'm really looking forward more to the Wonder in January than I am the Serenade in a couple of months!

I think your Cruise on the Serenade will just be a different kind of Cruise. You'll enjoy it because it will be just the two of you, and I'm sure you'll enjoy some time to yourselves

A Disney Cruise is totally different, it's more family orientated, and even when the kids are off doing their own thing, you know they're still close and having a great time

Have you made any plans for your upcoming Cruise Kelly ?

Will the ship just stay in place for tommorrow as well?

I don't think the ship will stay in Castaway Cay, I'm sure I've read somewhere that all sorts of nasty bugs come out at dusk and I'm sure they won't want the passengers to be bitten - of course I could be totally wrong

Good luck with finishing Carolin's room Kelly, I bet she'll be thrilled with it when it's finished

For now the plans are to leave on Apr 11th and stay the night in Washington DC since we fly out from there the next morning.

The only excursions we definately want to do are the ziplines in Antigua:

Wow, I love the sound of that tour by the waterfall, though I would have to give the zipwire activity a miss - it's sounds far too energetic for me

I hope you're going to find time to relax on this Cruise too Kelly

We are looking forward to it! I'm a little nervouse about the zip lines since their is a rope bridge crossing....

I don't think I'm going to cross it too easy

Those are the only things we plan on doing... we may hit the beach at a couple other places! But relaxing is definately a priority!!
