Hi everyone.
It's been a very lovely warm day here today. The temperature was in the 70's and people were in shorts and tshirts
I uncovered the fish pond today because the temperature under the tarp was almost 80. I think it was getting just a little bit too warm under there. It's always nice when I take the cover off and can take stock of how many fish are still in there.
I also had a traumatic day today.

I was in the back yard taking the cover off the pond and I hear this lady yelling...... She was trying to call her dog back out of the field behind my house. She lives a few houses away but I don't know her.
The dog was going after a groundhog. Poor groundhog. The dog killed it

Now I'm thinking, if that dog will kill a groundhog what would it do if it got a hold of a cat. Probably the same thing

Now I'll be worried about my cats, although I've rarely every seen that dog outside.
Liz's dance competition went well. There was a slight problem in that her group was practising and missed their time to perform

They weren't paying close enough attention to what was going on.
It was a good thing that they were the only group in that category and that the judges allowed them to perform after they came back from dinner break. They danced well but we did not stay long enough to get the awards, so we don't know what kind of mark they got. Hopefully that will be sent out to them this week.
I'll tell ya though.... I got very tired of seeing skinny bare ribcages sticking out and behinds that were barely covered

It seemed to be mainly a problem with the younger dancers aged 7 to 12 or so. The older they got for the main part, the more clothes they had on.
Also too many little girls dancing to inappropriate music for their age. There was one 7 year old who did a solo. She was made up and I swear she looked 25. She had a beautiful costume though. Anyways, she was dancing to a song about needing a man, bumping and grinding included

Scary stuff.
The girls from our dance studio do not wear costumes like that, thank goodness.
