7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Hi everyone,

Its been the pits for going to town for me this week....NEVER MADE IT....
Yesterday just as Im getting ready to go...It start to rain...ICY RAIN...then Just ICE...2 hrs. of ICE....So I cancel my plans and bump everything for today....Well it turned to snow..around noon...and snowed until 2:30 PM..got about two inches on top of the ice...then stopped...THEN the temp went up and by the late afternnon ..You couldnt tell We had any of it...
So it was just enough and just long enough to waste my day! ..
BUT thats OK ,, because Ive arranged to do everything today....

WELLL......We are suppose to get 6-10 inches of snow today...Its suppose to be really bad for driving....SO GUESS WHAT....
I have canceled all my appts. for today...ANOTHER wasted day! ....

At least its Friday.....Not much planned for this weekend though....My mother is going to stay with my sister for the weekend...IF it lets up enough on the snow for her to get here...Im not too worried..My BIL is a retired trucker...He'll go through anythng...
Not me ....I'm chicken in the snow...

Too bad you've had to put off your plans, I thought we were thru with the crazy weather... but now I remember just how unpredictable March is. Here's for the arrival of some good spring weather

Oh Betsy - it must feel like Winter has been around forever for you. I hope it warms up for you soon. We've had above average temperatures for the last week or 2 and it really feels like Spring is on it's way - BUT - snow is due again on Monday and Tuesday - I can't wait for the Summer to come

I'm not afraid of snow. I'll pretty much drive through anything.

We have plans to go to friends tomorrow. Rick is helping the guy with his model airplane and I'll be hanging out with the guy's wife.

Sunday I should probably catch up on the laundry and housework.

I've had a lovely Mother's Day, I got a Mickey Mouse bag, and a glass and folder in the same design, and we have been out to dinner, so that I don't have to cook

The weather is awful today, we've got really high winds with rain and sleet, I tell ya, the Summer can't come soon enough for me

Too bad about the weather.

It was okay here today, chilly but the sun was nice and warm.

I cleaned my car out a bit, in preparation for getting my new one next week.

It's amazing how much junk we accumulate in a car without even realizing it

It's Becky's birthday today, I can't believe that my baby is 14 (where has time gone?). Tonight we're taking Becky and a couple of her classmates bowling and having something to eat there

Good Morning all,
Mandy,
I hope you had a great mothers day!....Sounds like you did...except for the weather of course!....

The weather has been not so good here either. ..Woke up to 6 more inches of snow yesterday morning...Thats a total of about a foot and a half..for the last few days...Im hoping it done now ....We have sun todayas we did yesterday...But its still only in the 30s ..So it doesnt do much to melt the snow....BUT They say..it WILL get warmer soon...I hope they are right!

Major Cabin fever going on in this house! ....

I am going to be looking into RV parks to go to this spring snd summer...(You have to reserve early or you dont get into some)....They cant be too far away..because it will be only for the weekends that My Mom goes to my sisters...Not much around here though.... ... So it take a little time finding good ones ...We also need them to have some water near by ..as we have our kayaks we'd like to make use of.....So P&P to me plaese for finding some good ones...

Anyway I hope you all are staying warm and had a good weekend!

Betsy- P & PD with the weather and the RV reservations. I just told my dad to start planning their trip for the summer with my son. They take him camping in the pop-up for a week in August for his birthday! I prefer them to stay within a few hours of me just in case something happens while they are gone.
We too, just got buried under a winters worth of snow this past week. But the mud's frozen back up... we have a dirt road and driveway so it has been difficult keeping that new car clean!!!!
