We are back up ! Yeah...Happy Christmas eve everyone...

I sit here in my new jammies CW bought me, sipping on my warm tea out of my new Longaberger latte mug his parents gave me. I'm also sporting some very comfy tinkerbell socks, CW made sure to start the holiday off with a little Disney

We exchanged gifts at CW's parents house tonite and the kids are already snug in their beds... so funny, Jimmy was the first one in bed!

Excellent news this week, Jimmy's social worker went through great lengths to get the stamp of approval for him to go with us

Happy Christmas Everyone, I checked the Dis last night and it hadn't come back up at 10pm our time. I hope you have all had some lovely presents, I received my Elvis Stitch ornament and loads of little WDW bits & pieces like necklaces, earrings, t-shirt, calendar, IllumiNations CD (I'm listening to Tapestry of Nations at the moment) and other things

We're having our Christmas dinner at 1pm, and then we'll be doing somemore packing

I can't believe that we're now less than 2 weeks to go till the Cruise

I am soooo excited

I wish everyone a happy, stressfree day.

I'm going to my in laws this afternoon. My brother in law will be coming from Cleveland, Ohio for his annual day and a half visit to see his parents (Why don't my smilies work? )

I will report to you what gifts I get from there because I usually get something very interesting. My mother in law loves to shop in the second hand stores and tends to buy me the most lovely (NOT) things.

Last year she bought me a sweatshirt from the Goodwill store that someone had hand painted big ugly flowers all over. She said it was for me to wear on my cruise. I just sort of smiled and said Ummmm thanks. And when she was gone it went right into the charity bag again!

This will be our first Christmas without a child at home. Alex will be home on the 27th, which I'm okay with.

Our Christmas in this house will wait until then.

Merry Christmas to my fellow cruisers!! Can you believe in 2 weeks we will be in the Bahamas? My dh checked the long range forcast and so far it predicts high 70's/low 80's! The kids got from Santa 2 days in WDW after the cruise and boy are they excited! Of course Mickey shirts and princess jackets, lanyards and pins were among the gifts!! Hope everyone has a blessed day and peace in the new year! See you soon!

Woohoo !! 12 Days To Go

Well Christmas is finally over in the mandymouse household, we have taken the tree and decorations down, and now I'm packing and washing like mad as we leave for the airport hotel tomorrow lunchtime

It sounds like everyone had a great Christmas Day, I know we did, and we've all had some fab presents

I am so excited about our trip and I can't believe that in 12 days we will all be getting on 'our ship'

Happy day after christmas everyone!!

Smilies are still not working.

We had a wonderful day yesturday. The kids were quite surprised with thier gifts. The only time Cora has stopped talking about it, was when she was sleeping. Randall's a bit quieter about it, but you can still see his excitement. I'm relieved to finally have them know and be able to talk about it with them around!

We're getting snow/sleet/rain all day today....I'm gonna turn up the heat, hang around in some new cruise clothes, and daydream I'm on the ship!

Today we have rain, surprise, we've had rain for the last week or so.

I'm definitely not complaining though because I'd rather rain than snow

I hope the weather is not like it was last week in England. I saw on tv all the trouble they were having at Heathrow Airport with the fog.

Our friends flew into Heathrow on Saturday. Hopefully they arrived on time.

We're flying out of Manchester Airport, thankfully the fog has lifted around the UK, it was really bad last Thursday and Friday. The fog caused lots of delays, but the main problems were with domestic flights as they were trying to keep the International flights going

I'm all packed now, and I was so excited looking at my Cruise clothes, I can't wait to wear them

Has anyone ventured out to the Sales today ? I'm staying well away from the stores, I really can't be bothered with the crowds. I'm just sitting here DISing and watching Matthew Broderick in Godzilla (I love this film )

Hi all!! We are home today cleaning like mad and I'm doing tons of YUCK!! Trying to get our household in order so we can start packing for the cruise!!

I am definately not going to any stores today! I do look forward to going later this week to pick up my handbag when it comes in

Yup, I did something real special.

I cleaned the bathroom. Now that's not something I do every day



Hey the smilies work again

I'm very pleased with what I accomplished today. I just have to finish washing the window curtain and buy a new shower curtain and the bathroom will look great.
