Just stopping in to say hey. We move on Wednesday, so I doubt I'll be around much.

Boxes to pack, stuff to arrange, .... :) I'm so glad moving day has finally come.

Soon! :tigger:

Hi there

Jennifer - Good luck with your move on Wednesday, and I wish you lots of happiness in your new home

Robin - I cannot believe how quick your next cruise has come round, I know it's not Disney, but I'm still so jealous, I hope you have some lovely weather there after the poor weather at home

Have a great day everyone

Mandy :)

Hi everybody! Just popping in to say "Hello"! We had a great weekend except for that darn clown that decided to ride in the truck with us at the haunted hayride... I almost cried! He wasn't pretty looking... sharp teeth, dark eyes... let me outta this truck:scared1:

The kids got a good laugh, Chad was the one who set me up  Paybacks are in order :thumbsup2

Looks like everyone had a great weekend! I'll chat more tommorrow :grouphug:

P. S. :welcome: Mickey'sfriend :welcome:

:wave2: :car:

OMG Kelly - a clown on a haunted hay-ride - Now that would've freaked me out big time

Speak to you tomorrow

Mandy :)

Morning all!

I just spoke with one of my sisters and guess what she wanted..........She wants me to do a weight loss challenge with her! :rotfl2:
I told her I was already in a challenge and not really doing all that well, maybe she figures I'm an easy one to beat at this stuff. She wants me to walk with her 3 times a wk!! Apparently her Dr wants her lose 20 lbs before her next appt, which is quite amusing since she looks pretty darn good to me. :confused3 She does have high blood pressure and high cholesterol, so maybe that's the deal. She about my size, give or take 5 lbs, but I don't have to worry about blood pressure and cholesterol. (not yet anyway, I'll probably be the one who ends up diabetic :guilty: ...it's quite prevelant in our family.) Either way, I've been double challenged!! :rotfl:This means no more popcorn:: :happytv: for me and more :yay: and maybe some :cool1: !

Hey Wendy ~ maybe that will be great motivation for you both, as I know if it's was me, I wouldn't be bothered in walking by myself, but if I had someone to go with, then that would be a different matter

:wizard: Good Luck to you both :wizard:

Mandy :)

Today is school picture day! I sent the kids off to school dressed quite nicely if I must say so myself! Randall needs a haircut though. We are trying to grow it out to look a bit more "skateboard-ish" or "surfer-like", but it's hard to tolerate while it is growing. It wouldn't be too bad if he'd comb it every now and then. :rotfl: He headed out the door with the cutest carpenter jeans on that are a light demin but look "dirty" and old. Also a green t-shirt with yellow trim at the neck and yellow letters that says "allergic to homework". You can't really see what the letters say because he is wearing a white, cotton, long sleeve button up shirt over it. I rolled the sleeves to his elbows and only buttoned the bottom couple of buttons. It might sound kind of funny, but it's really a sweet outfit. It's something my nephew would wear and he is in college. :teeth:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I love it !!!

He sounds very cool to me, I hope the photos turns out nice. Unfortunately the girls have to wear school uniforms, so their school photos don't tend to look that good

Mandy :)

Thanks Mandy! Sheila is good at losing weight, she does this nearly every year. Although I think she is having a harder time keeping it off lately. She's nearing 40, so it's getting more and more difficult for her. For me, you'd think I'd be a rail with all the TKD, weapons, and volleyball, but no....no rail here!

Cora headed to school in the sweetest dress. Don't know if you guys are familiar with the brand Austin & Ashley, but they make the cutest little dresses. Cora looks 7, she's tall, and propotionate weight to her height. She is quite friendly with most of the 1st graders so many times people think she 's a 1st grader. Well, this dress makes her look like a kindergartener. It's a nice school plaid(red, blue, yellow, green) with a big, square, white, collar that has appliques of glue, a+, pencil, and apple. She's wearing white cable knee socks and little black mary janes. I love this outfit on her. I had to tell her to make sure she pulled up her socks before pictures were taken because as she headed out to the bus, I noticed one looked about 2" shorter than the other! :rotfl:

I love that allergic to homework shirt!! :rotfl2: He has another that says "my evil twin made me do it", and Cora has one that says "It's my brothers fault."

Sometimes I wish out kids had to wear uniforms. I see so many kids with clothes that I think are inappropriate for school. Two years ago they implemented some guidelines such as no tank tops with straps less than 2" wide and the shorts and skirts need to be at least fingertip long. The kids and some of the teachers still push the guidelines to the limit though. :confused3

Today is the day I get to reserve Palo...for brunch....
BUT They are all sold out already :sad2: ....

I didnt even get a chance.....This to me is NOT fair...I CANT make a res. until today...but after waiting all this time to make it..and they are sold out BEFORE the date I could.... :sad2:

I think they should at least keep SOME open for the people that have not sailed with them before...
Im BUMMED :guilty:

They do save some times for those that haven't taken DCL before -- as well as those who don't do anything online. Last year I called when I got on the boat and got a reservation (this was like 4:00). THey usually have someone manning a podium for PALO the first day too. Seems like last year it was in Wavebands, but I'm not sure where it will be now. We should check one of the latest personal navigators to see.

IF you want to eat at PALO, I am certain something will work out. :wizard:

AND HEY EVERYONE> SIGNING OFF until after the move. :wave2:

Austin and Ashely started in Montgomery AL. A mom had two twins -- yep thier names were the names of the company. There's an outlet in Montgomery. If I ever make it there, I'll PM you! THere clothes are adorable. I've also become attached to Kelly's Kids for classic fitting clothes -this is a home-show line. (I do not want my 6 or 8 year olds looking like POP divas.) This year, we haven't bought anything new (two houses!) luckily, both girls fit in last years clothes (how did that happen!)

:wave2: Hey you guys! How's everyone?

Besty~ Don't give up! I would call resv. a couple times a week to see if you can get in :goodvibes I've heard people that can reserve earlier than the rest save their spots then cancel, you may even get in with a last minute cancellation. I do agree about leaving some spots open for people who can't register as early! Good luck :thumbsup2

Wendy~ Aw, the kids sound sooo cute! Are they doing class pics too? I can just picture Cora with one sock up and one sock down! That's how it was with my pics, it seemed like nothing was ever even (sleeves, straps...) :lmao:

Mandy~ Do you have a clown phobia too? Thank the Lord mom never hired a clown at my bday parties when I was a kid! :rotfl2: P. S. Are there any clowns at WDW??

Robin~ How's your part of the world? It's got to be cold... it's pretty chilly here! Hope you're having fun getting your next cruise all straight!

Hello to the rest of the cruisers! Hope everyone is doing well :grouphug:

Wendy ~ Cora sounds cute too, all being well you should have a couple of lovely pictures

Betsy ~ So sorry to hear that you couldn't book Palo on-line, like Jennifer said, DCL do hold some open for when you board, so I'd head straight to whereever you need to make reservations as soon as you board, and hopefully you'll be lucky :wizard: :wizard:

Kelly ~ I find Clowns very freaky, and I hate seeing them in movies (though I tend to stay away from scary movies anyway). I can't say I've ever come across any clowns in WDW, I guess the nearest you'll get to any is if you are going to see Cirque du Soleil

BTW Kelly ~ I still haven't heard from Paula about the Christmas Card List, will you PM me with all their details please, thanks :thumbsup2

Jennifer ~ :wizard: :wizard: Good Luck with your move and hopefully we'll hear from you soon

Robin, Suzi, all the sisters, Paula and everyone else ~ have a lovely day

Mandy :)

We love Kelly's Kids too!! Cora just wore the cutest flowerpot overalls from that line yesturday. They looked like something my mom would have put on me. Many people will buy an item of clothing for Cora (& sometimes me)when they are shopping because they see something that reminds them of something she;s had on. The funny thing is, they comment how cute she looks all the time, but never buy those items for thier own kids! :confused3 My sister bought matching outfits for her daughter and Cora. They aren't anything I would buy but they are cute....but leopard print? It seems the older Cora gets the more I want her to be a little girl. :guilty: Oh, I love Gymboree clothes too. Fun colors and comfy fabrics! Most of Coras summer clothes come from gymboree. And most of Randalls regular clothes as well. They seem to fit him better than most brands and it's hard to find clothes he likes, that fit. He's 9 and wears a 5/6..sometimes a 7 slim. He needs more "mature" clothes. :lmao:

Just individual photos today. The lady who takes the pictures plays volleyball with me and also owns a family style resturaunt in town. I'm never really happy with her pictures but buy a couple for the scrapbooks. I had to remove pink nail polish from Randalls fingernails this morning! Also he drew a face on his pointer finger and thumb...that I couldn't scrub hard enough to get off. I told him to hide his hand for the picture.
Group photos they usually do in the spring so they can be done outside. Again, not a great photo, but I buy them for the scrapbooks.

Nov 11 my kids are having their pictures done with Santa. A really nice studio picture. I have those outifs picked out too!! :teeth: I have issues with shopping for kids clothes, shoes, jackets, backbacks, etc. My kids clothes and stuff is hardly worn most of the time. Makes for some amazing yard sale deals for the people in our area. :bitelip:
