7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

I was thinking that Diversions might be a good place ...Its not suppose to be crowded at any time ( we can change that )..and they are suppose to serve snacks and you can get drinks there too...
How does that sound to everyone else?

Now the when..... What do you all think?....Maybe after lunch and before the drill

Sounds good to me Betsy Will the kids be allowed in there ? We'll still be there ~ what sounds best 2pm or 3pm ?? (as the drill is at 4pm)

Well, I'm off to check out the Locks of Love website. Cora has had enough of me brushing her hair out every morning and such. She is ready to have it cut. I think it has to be in a ponytail and the pony needs to measure 10" form top to tip. I'm not sure she has 10 ", but it'll be close. She only wants it cut to her shoulders so we need to make sure she has plent left after the cut! I like her hair long, but not this long. It's hard to put in a pony because it is sooo long. It's sooooo healthy too. It was Cora's idea to donate. I think she'll just grow it out and do it again. She's a selfless little girl, always thinking of others.

How sweet! That is something I've always wanted to do, but my hair is so thin and it grows slow! I've let it grow a little past my shoulders, so we'll see! Cora is one cool little gal

Betsy, Diversions sounds great! I know my kids want to meet you guys, so do you want me to check on kids being allowed in there for a short time while everyone's boarding?

Mandy, glad you answered my question without me asking! I was trying to remember when the drill was! It's like you read my mind, lol!!!

Children will be allowed in Diversions during the daytime hours I believe. Especially since at that time of the cruise there will be no planned activities going on. Mainly will be people exploring the ship at that time.

I think they are only banned after a certain time at night.

Betsy can check on that if she wants to make sure.

The exercise/weightloss thing on my signature is to help me keep track of how much exercise I've done and how much weight I've lost. Which is definitely not a direct proportion between the two

About the challenge. Some of us here have decided to try to lose a bit of weight before the cruise. It's not so much of a challenge but an opportunity to support each other while we are working on it.

There are no winners to this challenge because everyone who loses some weight will be a winner in the end.

Id love to take credit for it, but I must be honest,....
It is Cruisin (Robin) who helped you out, and has the challange in her sig....She is doing much better in her weight loss then I also... ..

I DID lose 30Lbs.....this last year ...but the last 5 lbs. seem to be happy where they are...they also seem to invite friends that over stay their welcome ...BUT I am try to get rid of them all...Just not hard enough I guess ....

We got our first heavy frost last night ...Boy was I glad to start that fire this morning..... ..Hope it warms up...We are working outside again today!

You guys are like us...we keep giving each other presents BEFORE Christmas...just because we cant wait....

The other day I ordered scuba gear for him for the cruise to give him for Christmas...
Well it came UPS(United Parcel Service)...Guess who met the truck when it drove up....Hes NEVER around for deliverys....and we NEVER get them on a weekend....
EXCEPT this time...WE did and HE did...
Soooo EARLY Christmas present to him!...He likes them

Yes Betsy, today is the day that I leave to spend the night in Detroit and then tomorrow I'm off to Orlando.

Mandy, No, I'm not packed and ready to go yet I pretty much know what I need to take, I just have to put it in the suitcase.

As to it being quiet this week, you guys just have to talk more to make up for me not being here.
