Only 5 months??? I'll never be ready in time! Maybe I'll drag the kids to get thier passport pictures today. We're headed to the movies...gonna see Monster House. It's a kids movie. I don't think Cora would like POTC but I do need to take Randall to see that. He has a bday coming, so I'll take him and one of his friends. I try to do that every year. Never the same friend either, but I like it that way.
Kelly - glad to see your still doing well and filling in as cheerleader quite nicely!

Howdy gang!! Went to have my test yesterday, I acted like a big baby when it came time for the IV needle I have to send a gift to that nurse, it didn't even hurt! They took excellent care of me the entire time

I had a nice power nap, and after coming to, the doc told me the first thing they noticed was that I had a hiatal hernia! The nurse laughed and asked if I ever found my fuzzy bear slippers, seems I was their entertainment for the day

I'm glad they found something at least during your test. My mom had one of those a lot of years ago.

Sounds like you did a good job of entertaining the medical staff. They just might invite you back again

Monster House was ok. I really liked Cars and Chicken Little and Ice Age, so it's difficult for me to compare. Cora was a little frightened at times during Monster House, not enough to whine or anything, but I could just tell. Both the kids enjoyed the movie. Don't cross it off your list, but don't expect a GREAT movie. Next on our list is POTC(w/out Cora) and maybe Barnyard. Once school starts it's nearly impossible to fit a movie in our schedule.
My kids go back Aug 28th. I had to check the school's website to be sure. Randall was scheduled for a dr appt that day so I changed it to the 25th, and now instead of a follow up appt he is having a physical. Wanted to get that in before the cruise so I figure now is a good opportunity. When I'm there I'll schedule Cora for a physical as well. I so worry about Cora's weight. She isn't overweight now, but she so loves bread, potatoes, pasta and junk food. I have to tell her no sometimes when she asks for seconds. What if I didn't. That's what worries me. I try to keep her involved in dance, tkd and soccer so she gets some exercise. I probably sound vain...I'm not, heck, I still could lose 20 lbs or so, I don't wear make up and sometimes I go to the store in my TKD uniform, all sweaty no less! I just want Cora to develop good habits now.

We're having a fab time, the weather is brilliant and we really don't want to leave.

Sue, Hollyann and Mary, I hope you had a great weekend. Sorry that I was unable to text you, I dropped my new mobile phone at Manchester airport and it has permanently switched off, so I'll have to wait till I get home to get it fixed. What did you do ? We were at Epcot Friday night, we went to Universal Studios on Saturday morning and shopping in the late afternoon.

Anyway I hope to pop in again, take care everyone

Yikes, I just read about the new rules regarding liquids in carryon luggage.

I haven't read any news reports on what happened to change this ruling yet.

We always travel with no checked luggage, only carryon.

I guess when we go to Florida at the end of August we will be flying all checked luggaged instead. We were thinking about it anyway, since we are using Disney's Magical Express and won't have to deal with the luggage on the trip down at least. It will be just coming home.

It's just so much easier to do all carry on. Saves a lot of time.

Mandy, I hope you hear about this before you pack to go home, so that you can pack properly and not have a hassle at the airport.

That includes any and all types of liquid except for prescription medications and necessary over the counter medications, also excepting baby formula and juice for a small child, although you may be required to taste any formula or juice that you bring on.

No carrying on of liquids, gels, toothpastes, sunscreens, shampoos those types of things.

All must be put into checked luggage.

I'm off to Niagara Falls to meet with Betsy, Dalpal. I won't be back until sometime Saturday. Have fun

We won't be travelling with our grown children, but one of the daughters and her husband will be meeting us at WDW for a 4 day weekend on the 11th.
