What a gorgeous sight!!!


I can't wait to hear the ship's horn! Whoever gets the privilege of sounding the horn is sooo lucky!

What a fab piccie My eyes always fill up when the horn is sounded as we pull away from Port Canaveral (woohoo !! it's party time)

Robin, I remember reading about Verandahman sounding the ship's horn ~ that must be a great experience

On one of my previous cruises, I had the pleasure of sharing the ship with Verandahman ~~ Andy

He and his wife Hazel are such very nice people.

Andy and his wife were both honoured to be able to sound the ship's horn as we were departing from Castaway Cay He was still wriggling with the excitement of it when he told me about it many hours later

Couldn't have happened to a nice guy

Verandahman is a funny guy, I've been on the same thread with him off and on! I can't imagine how funny he is in person!

So much fun doing all this paperwork to go on an enchanting cruise, it's all well worth it though! Just kinda pricey!

Someone, make sure we have tissues for MM & I! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who tears up when leaving the port!

Been a very sunny but chilly day here today. I've been inside all day working on getting everything back into the kitchen. Almost done, only a few boxes left to go.

I just booked our room for the WDW land part of our Cruise vaca....Its going to be at the CBR...four nights...the 3rd to the 7th....
Anybody going to be staying there then?...Robin?...Sue, Ann, Mary?...If so Ill see ya there Colleen I hope you can make this cruise.... ...If you can, stay at the CBR...OK?

Also I found some interesting things out about a new promo Disney is going to have from the CM on the phone (she was reading it all to me from her PC screen)....

Im not sure how its all going to work...but they are going to have a thing called..."A year of a million dreams/Where dreams come true"...starting Oct 1st.....Something about CMs giving sp. things out to guests ...including... golden fastpasses..and....Get this.... Stays INSIDE of Cinderella's castle!..
SHE didnt even have the details yet...I cant wait to find out more about it

Tropical Depression Alberto has arrived here today It's rainy but the winds haven't picked up yet! It's not suppose to be too bad

I usually miss the games, they are being played during the day when I'm at work!

I'm glad to hear England is doing well, my son is a Beckham fan! (I secretly am too )

The U.S. lost their first game, I hope to catch the game this Saturday & hope they can get a win!

Does anybody know if there is a deadline for notifying the cruise of your passport#? We still need to get the rest of us straight!

According to the opening page of the Disney Cruise Line website, you have to notify them of your passport numbers at least 75 days before the cruise.
