Hey all! Hope everyone had a great weekend, I got sunburnt on Saturday and then sick Sunday and Monday. What a great 3 day weekend :guilty: , oh well... there will be more!

Robin! I love your new kitchen! The color is beautiful... and I love the lighting under your cabinets! :goodvibes I know you love to walk in there, it's so refreshing to update things :cloud9:

Betsy, we (my DH, kids, and I) were watching the Travel channel and the Disney parks came up! They showed each park and the begal tigers came up on the screen. Right then one jumped onto a bricked area just like in your picture! I got excited and told the kids "Betsy took a picture at that exact spot with probably that same tiger" The kids asked who was Betsy, and I said, oh I mean Dalpal, one of the cruisers we will be cruising with! I just thought you'd like to know that you guys come up in fun conversations :teeth:

Mandy, did you get to go shopping and did you have fun? I hope the girls are doing well! Tell them hello for me!!

Gotta go for now! Take care :grouphug:

:cheer2: I forgot to tell you guys.

I paid off the balance of our cruise today :teeth:

I thought I'd take advantage of the favourable exchange rate of Canadian for US dollars and pay off the cruise. :smooth:

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely day

Kelly ~ The girls are off school this week for half term, we went to a shopping mall on Monday, but we didn't buy anything (boo, hoo). To be honest I think we are all about ready for our holiday ~ I think I could easily start packing but we've still got 9 weeks to go ;)

Robin ~ Well done on paying the balance of the cruise off, I think if the dollar rate is the same when we get back in August, we'll pay ours off too :boat:

:wave2: See ya

Mandy :)

Mandy, you can always practice packing in your head ;)

Then when it comes time to pack you can whiz right through it with ease :teeth:

Another hot scorching day here today. Tomorrow it is supposed to cool down a bit.

Off to the big city today for some supplies for the business and maybe a bit of personal shopping too.

Naw... I'm happy for ya! It's a good feeling, isn't it! I'll be to a zero balance soon though, I can't wait! :cheer2:

What months does their school year run? My kids start school in September and end in June, they are definately ready for summer vacation here! I'm not though, my baby graduates from elementary school next week.... :guilty: I'm not ready for her to take the next step, middle school :sad2:

I'll check in later! Take care :grouphug:

The girls break up for the Summer around the 21st July and they head back to school 6th September. Kerry (my eldest) will be in her final year at school, and she will be taking her 'Mock' exams just before Christmas (so the Cruise will be a nice way to relax after all that revising). Her main exams will be around May/June 2007 and then hopefully she will be off to college. She's thinking about taking either Child Care or Psychology

Robin ~ That's a good idea, packing in your head ~ I don't have to do any ironing for that ~ LOL :rotfl:

kelly, NY was really wonderful! we saw a couple of broadway shows - Hairspray was fantastic - lots of energy and fun! we saw many sites including empire state bldg, central park, downtown NY, Soho, chinatown, various catherdrals, etc. we also visited ground zero. it was very somber. DD and i cried, prayed, and reflected on the very sad time in our history. all in all, a very memorable trip.
i have been playing catch-up at work since i've been back, but still gonna take the time to go to wdw for a day trip this friday w/DS - just the two of us. i took his twin brother a couple of weeks ago. it was great. sometimes kids just have to have their own time w/you. well, y'all have a great rest of the week and an even better weekend. mary

Woohoo! Just entered another month closer to the cruise! To me, this is my halfway point because December will fly by quickly with the holiday and packing!

I am having a great day, I hope everyone else is as well! I'll stop back in later!

Take care :grouphug:

:wave2: Hi everyone

Mary ~ It sounds like you've had a great trip and you packed a lot into it. I must admit that New York is one place I would love to visit, but I would have to give up a WDW holiday for it ~ and there's no chance of that in the near future :)

Hello fellow cruisers
