To answer your other question Miscoehill, there is not a formal night onboard the four night cruises.

Most people will try to dress nicer on the night that they eat in Triton's because it is the most formal of all of the dining rooms.

:wave2: Hey everyone, from a rather damp UK this morning ~ I hope everyone is well

Laurie ~ What deck will you be on ? There are quite a few of us on deck 6 (so that'll be the deck to avoid :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ) and are you on late or early dining ? We're on early. As Robin has said, there is no formal night on this cruise, though most people do dress up nice for Tritons, I love to dress up for dinner (don't worry I don't mean ball gowns or anything) but I do like to make a bit of an effort ~ as I don't get much chance to dress up at home ~ so I have to make the most of it

Mandy :)

HEY GUYS!!

:welcome: Laurie :welcome: Great to hear we have another one onboard! I look forward to getting to know you as we get closer to the sail date!

Robin... Got your PM; I haven't had a chance to get on the boards w/ everything going on! Thanks for the word of encouragement, things are good!

Reading back on everything I've missed sounds like you guys have been busy! Hope you guys had fun on your trips!

Speaking of the formal nite, I was misled I guess! Awhile back I spoke with a CM of DCL and they said a pirate nite, formal nite, and two casuals. I did find it on the website too! Here it is:

http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/dcl/en_US/help/overview?name=OnboardDiningFAQLandingPage

They may have changed this too! I could be wrong, that seems to be my usual thing!

Betsy... I finally got my passport! It took 7 weeks

Miss chatting with everyone! I'll check in later! :wave2: :grouphug:

Woohoo !! 8 Months To Go

Welcome Laurie!! (better late than never!)

and HEY!! to everyone else. It's been quite some time since I have been on the boards. Seems like as the weather gets nicer, our schedules get busier. Kayla has her countdown for her high school graduation, Cora graduates prescool in a couple of weeks and we've been busy with registering her for school and all that entails, and my sister is graduating college this Saturday. Of course everyone gets a party, and Randall and Cora's classes are both trying to fit ing class trips before the end of school. I try to participate as much as I can. Cora's recital is next week for tap and ballet and Randall has two martial arts tournaments coming up.....and that's not everything, it'll be interesting to say the least!!
Glad to see everyones trips went smoothly, we are getting excited for ours. Still haven't told the little kids yet. Cora is saving her pennies for a trip to WDW....she will be soooo happy!
Enjoy your day!!
:sunny:

Sue...I hope you guys share pics from Alaska with us when u get back!

Mandy... :cheer2: :cheer2: on your 10,000th post :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hope everyone is doing well! Anything interesting anyone has bought or done to prepare for the cruise?

Have a great day!

Take care :grouphug:

Hey Wendy... I was still slooowly typing while you were posting! Wow, sounds like you are busy, busy! :teeth: Here's some pixiedust to help you get thru the next couple of weeks pixiedust: End of school year seems to be the craziest of times, but I love them!

Good luck!
Take care :grouphug:

did you say 7 wks for the passport? I'm getting stuff together to get ours done. What about the little kids, do I get them passports too? :confused3 Someone suggested state ID's as they are so much cheaper and then carry a birth certificate just in case! What do you think?

gotta wake Cora up to get her ready for dance class, :cloud9: she always falls asleep on Wednesday afternoons, don't know why!!

Ok, I've read all about door magnets? Should I be making some of these for my door on our cruise? Do you guys make them? Anything else I should be making for the cruise? Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. It's raining for the third day..more of the way.

Thanks Kelly

Laurie, I haven't even thought about a Door Magnet ~ is everybody going to do one ?? (i.e. a threadkillers cruise one)

I haven't bought anything new for the cruise, but I'm always on the look out

Take care everyone

Mandy :)

We've never had a door magnet on any of our previous cruises. But we might have one this time.

Maybe Betsy, our resident design artist, will design one for us. If we ask nicely that is :p

I read the DCL about the little ones, I knew we needed passports for ours but where you have a 5 y/o. They did say that all travelers needed passports including children. I've listed the link below for ya if you want to read up on it!

Oh, how nice it would be to nap in the middle of the day!!!

Hey guys! As for the door magnets, I am trying to overcome my artistic challenge :lmao: and make some creative ones! Between yahoo images and ms word, hopefully I can pull it off!

I've read somewhere alot of people get green mickey paint samples from Home Depot(they are in the shape of mickey mouse of course), laminate them, and put them on their doors to show that they are Disers! I'm going to grab them too!

Hope everyone has a great day!

P. S. I'm making a checklist with items exp cruisers said helped them that you normally wouldn't bring (ie: highlighters/to highlight events on the Navigators you would like to do - Thanks Robin!) If anyone wants a copy later, let me know!

P. P. S. Let me know if you need list of mailing addresses for everyone on this thread! Thanks!

Take care :grouphug:

Hi All

Just a quick note, I'm all packed and ready to go to Alaska. :cool1: I'll post when I get back.

Whats up with the magnet? Are we trying to all have the same design?? :confused3

Chat more later. :grouphug:

Have a great vacation Susan!
