Gorgeous picture, Colleen!

I agree, very nice picture Colleen.

I usually end up buying a few pictures while I'm onboard too. I at least have to buy the welcome aboard picture.

I agree Colleen, I love to buy a couple of the photos onboard, and it's great when there's at least one lovely family one :)

You're right, cruise line pics definately aren't cheap, but they look better than what I can take! :rotfl2:

One of my fav pics, Mandy would love! The photographer took a pic of my son and Stitch flexing their biceps! It is soo cute, I'll have to try and scan it and post it! :goodvibes

Post away Ladies...it's what I do best ;)

Since we are sharing, here are 3 more...we sailed with DISers we met online, talked to them for almost two years before we actually set sail, and had an awesome time with all of them :teeth:

I have that same Mickey breakfast shot and Palo shot in my photobucket. Theirs are stamped tho, the Christmas 2005 on the group photo is nice to have.

btw...I sell all my pics for a whopping $0!!!! I hope you can afford me ;)

Have a good day everyone.

Okay...Okay....Okay..., I finally made it over here. Mary SWHNN and I will be on the cruise with you. You already met Mary, and I'm her sister Susan, both sisters of HollyAnn (Ann). Most of you already know me, but for those who don't....I'm married (25years) 2 young adult (24&20) children both boys. I'm a nurse. Live in N. Florida, go to Disney a bunch (6 times this year so far). Can't wait for this cruise!!!! :yay:

So whats new with everyone here? :)

What is the dress for the cruise and dinners? We are on 1st dinner, how about everyone else? I hope I'm not gonna make everyone repeat everything, but I don't feel like rereading 30 pages..... :hourglass

Glad to meet everyone, Chat more later :grouphug:

Hello Susan Glad to see you over here.

As to your clothing question....

for normal daily wear, just wear what you are comfortable in. Shorts and tshirts are great or long pants with sweaters in case it is a bit chilly which it can be in January. It gets windy onboard, especially at sea, so it can be cool.

Dinners.... well, here opinions vary greatly and it is a topic that gets out of hand quite easily at times

Here again I say wear what you feel comfortable in. No shorts are allowed in the dining room and it used to be no jeans either but they have relaxed that rule now.

There will be one night that is a little dressier than the others but not really formal. If you want to go all out and dress formally, you can but it is not necessary.

I personally am NOT a formal person and have yet to wear a dress on a cruise. I'm just not the dress type. I do try to dress nicely when I go to dinner though. I will admit that there has been an occasional night when I go to dinner in coloured jeans and a nice tshirt, especially pirate night when things are more casual to begin with.

It is your vacation, dress in a way that makes you comfortable. I am of the opinion that I'm there to enjoy MY meal at MY table with MY companions and what anybody else wears or doesn't wear really doesn't make an impression on me.

hurray for you cruisin! i am not one to wear a dress very often either. sisters, susan and ann are likely to be all gussied up, but i will be the one who is comfortable and wearing pants (jeans when i can get away w/it). i figure to bring a dress, but don't know if i will actually wear it. pirate night sounds fun. pirate: mary

Hi there Susan, it's great to meet you too

I'm Mandy, married to Paul, have 2 DD's (15 & 13) and I'm a carer and we're from the UK

Like others have said there is no formal wear required, except one evening which is a bit more dressier. The Cruise for me is a great chance to dress up (not formally, just a nice dress or skirt and top) as I never get the chance to at home

I've posted these before, but just for the newbies here we are

Thanks for all the Mother's Day wishes

Have a great weekend everyone
