I missed a day or two and I'm way behind on you guys again!

Happy Birthday Robin!

My parents came for a quick visit yesterday and today, so I'm entertaining them. Not much time before I meet them again! It has been nice to be with them.

DH's car is broke again! I gotta work on that today too!

I have an appointment with the ENT tomorrow to rule out sinus problems causing headaches. Anyone else get migraines (sp?) and have some advice, PM me!

Someone asked for a copy of the latest survey done on our house. I'm hoping this means they'd like to buy it! It's nice to have some extra interest (finally).

I still haven't bought a scale...will the ENT weigh Me?? I feel better for making healthier choices and I've been exercising some. Need to update my ticker.

I have no special plans, just my 3 hours of dance classes as usual for Thursdays.

I already took my husbands van for an oil change this morning

I got on the scale this morning and it definitely was NOT the birthday present I would have wished for

Mandy, I'll let you know if I receive anything for my birthday I might but you never know

I already received something really nice, a beautiful balloon bouquet with a birthday cup from a very special friend

Well, gots to go and get ready for dance class.... my very first "legal" class in the 50+ group

Well I have had a lovely day today, I took my mum shopping this morning, visited Paul's elderly aunt and when I got home I sat out in the garden for a couple of hours. We have been basking in temperatures in the 80's today, which are due to some of the hurricanes that missed the US in the last week or so

Will any of you be watching the Ryder Cup over the weekend ? It's being played in Ireland and it has been wet and blustery over there (again due to the remnants of the hurricanes) ~ Good Luck Europe (but I don't really mind if the US win either )

Glad you had a great day! The temps here today are in the high 60's, low 70's, it feels great here! I can't watch golf but I like to play once in awhile! The weather sounds yucky for the cup, though

It's cool here but tolerable. The sun is shining nicely but if you aren't sitting in a nice sheltered sunny spot, you probably don't want to sit outside for too long.

I like cool weather, only for a short time. I can't stand it getting dark early and temp below 60 degrees. Winter is too long, BUT at least part of it will be spent in a magical place

I know what you mean Kelly, if it wasn't for Christmas (and the Cruise of course) Winter would be my least favourite time of the year - I hate being cold

Another good thing about it getting cold, is that I can pack up my clothes for warm weather and put some of it in my suitcase



I was reading that the adult pool is suppose to get a cascading waterfall with alot of other changes happening on the Wonder

I'm not sure that I like the Jumbotron idea Seems tacky to me but I'll reserve judgement until I actually see it.

Mandy, the balloon arrangement ended up being the only gift that I received today for my birthday.

One of the guys that works for us called me today to wish me a happy birthday. He said he thought I'd be in to work today so that they could pick on me But I decided I didn't want to go to work today, so I didn't

I did end up going out for dinner though. I picked a local restaurant that means a lot to me, because I go out there for lunch quite often with one or both of my kids.

It's nothing fancy, just a local restaurant. I actually had chicken fingers and frenchfries.

I went with Rick and my kids and my mom and dad too.

Then I went to dance classes for the night.

Woohoo !! I've lost another pound, which at last takes me under the 10 stone (140 lbs) mark

I'm chuffed to bits as earlier in the week things weren't looking too good as I'd been out for a couple of meals and had a Chinese take-out. I've been really good since Monday and I've done my exercise DVD a couple of times too

Morning Mandy, I'm glad to hear that you've lost some weight this past week.

I'd like to be under the 140 pound mark, heck I'd love to be under the 150 pound mark.

It appears that I have not lost any more weight this past week. I tried to eat carefully and I did all those dance classes but nothing

I'm going to say that I've gained some muscle but didn't lose any weight That's my story and I'm sticking to it

I'm okay with that because I'm hoping the scale will go down next week and I'm glad that I got all of that exercise this week anyways.

Robin - Have you noticed that your clothes are fitting better now ?? I didn't measure myself, but I feel like I may have lost an inch from my waist, which is much more noticable than losing just a pound

Kelly - Well done on losing 2 lbs, that's great, keep up the good work

We haven't got much planned for this weekend. The weekend is usually the time when I eat too much rubbish - but I'm going to try to be good

Put a rubberband on your wrist and snap it when you go out to eat to try and make yourself eat good. That's what I overheard a girl say at the grocery store when she was talking to a friend about her weight loss!

I'd probably break the darn rubberband before the weekend was up!

I think we are all going to the movies tonight to see "Invincible". I hear it's a good family movie!

Well, so far Chad has made each cut on the soccer team. I think he finds either today or Monday if he made the team. Carolin said she froze during one of the routines but hopped right back into it after about 3 secs. She has already found out if she made the team, I'll have to wait until I pick her up

Well, Carolin just called from school... she made the team, but her cousins didn't. She is very upset for them I am as well because her cousins are very, very sweet girls who wear there hearts on their sleeves.

There is a talk of a dance squad being formed, I know they would love to try that too

There goes my 2 lbs cuz I've got to perk these kids up and take them for ice cream
