7night magic eastern or western

we just returned from a 4 night wonder and decided we want to go on another cruise eather the 7 night eastern or western what are your thoughts on both

We enjoyed the Western more....We like to shop, and Coz was great for that...also, we liked Key West...lots of charm.On the Eastern, we were very unimpressed with St Maarten....we felt it was somewhat dirty, with bad shopping....St Thomas was very nice though...clean and very beautiful...St John has one of the best beaches in the world.

We are trying our first Western in Nov. 2004 Cat. 3. The price difference wasnt that much between the East. or West. in the Cat. 3 but was about $1,000.00 difference in a Cat. 4. So if money is any object you may want to check out prices. Eastern is less expensive. Also I heard, and it may be just a rumor, that they are taking Key West off the Western if that would be a selling point or not. Good Luck deciding. Obviously you cant go wrong with either one in my opinion.

we hope they do not take key west off the western as we are leaning that way and most likly will stay cat. 4 for the extra room
