I really liked Crash a lot.

I enjoyed it too, but I found it a little over the top which dampened the message somewhat, for me at least.

What happened to all of the great musical performances we usually see? And where was the comedy? If not for Jon Stewart and a few other short minutes, this show was almost like a wake.

I missed most of the Oscar telecast tonight (DW and I rented Junebug -fine movie) anyhoo... saw the last hour or so. I have to agree that the part I saw was pretty boring. The one thing that was good was when Crash won for best picture. IMO it was just an awesome, touching movie -just the kind of movie I like. I haven't seen Brokeback Mountain yet (guess I'll wait for Netflix on that one), but I can't imagine it moving me anymore than Crash did.
