#77 locket pins

Anyone having problems? I was preparing one for shipping, when I noticed (in the unopened package) that the hinge is busted and the pieces are separated! Glad it happened now and not in shipping. And luckily both the local stores still have them in stock.
I was speaking to a fellow TDS line stander yesterday. She said she returned all her #77 lockets because the ones she bought were not latching and stying closed. She thought the hinges were too small for the size of the pin. Plus she was just disappointed in it all way around. (Just another case of it's a matter of personal taste.)

I got 4 of these pins, one for me--it was fine, one for my sister--it was fine, one for my friend--it was saggy and wasn't closing right. I gave her the 4th one, I hope it is okay.

I had the halves not align! no hinge problem.
There should be no problem finding new ones as there are
35,000 + pins of this type.
