It was 4am, that's 9am in Ireland. He wasn't copping on about the time difference when he rang.

MVMCP is alot of fun but MNSSHP is better. I dunno maybe it's the fact you get to dress up for that. Although I do love that castle lit up maybe they could put orange lights on it for Halloween

She said she didn't. I dunno if that was her mood when she was there or whether she actually didn't like it. I thought it was great it was so much closer to everything and it was alot better doing the disney stuff that way instead of worrying about getting back to Epcot bus park for 10.05 so we didn't miss the last bus. Plus we were able to get to parks earlier. I think as well the hotel on International Drive was very quiet and straight away POP was busier so I dunno if that affected her not liking the place.

I thought it was cool. Wasn't expecting it at all plus had been looking for one for the trading pins. Was like a child at Christmas when I opened the post today

I asked Momma today if she really hated POP or was it just because of what happened the second day that we were there that she hated it. She said nope she really hated it. What she didn't like was the fact the rooms were "small and stuffy" and the giant dogs again "I mean where did you ever see a dog that size."
I explained to her there was probably a reason that they were that big like in AoA the fish are huge because it's meant to give the impression you've shrunk down to Nemo's size and that you are seeing things through his eyes. I said in POP they're probably like that because they go through the different decades and those were some of the huge icons of that decade so the have to have them huge! I didn't convince her anyway

Day 14, part 1:
Wednesday, 7th December, 2011.

This was a very sad day. It was our last full day in Disney. Those of you paying attention will remember from the previous night that we got back to POP at 1am and then the phone rang at 4am. So we didn’t have that much sleep. So I had set the alarm because I wanted to see something in particular quite early in the morning except because of the late night and phone call and tiredness I didn’t wake up when the alarm went off. I woke at 7.15 with a jump leap out of bed and got ready to go out in about 15 mins. I asked Momma to get up but she said she was too tired and told me to go ahead on my own. I told her under no condition was she to leave POP century because she has no sense of direction and would probably end up in Canada or something if she tried to go anywhere alone. I took my phone and told her to text me if she had any problem. Then I headed for the buses and got the one I wanted just before 8am. By 8.30 I was back here:

I should have just slept there for the night lol. I zoomed in on the clock because even I couldn’t believe I was at the Magic Kingdom that early:

There was a bit of general waiting and reflecting and of course picture taking while I was waiting for the park to open:

Then just before 9am this guy came out:

A few minutes later this came along:

There was singing and dancing and general magic. I finally got to see the opening ceremony for the Magic Kingdom. I have always wanted to see this and we never get to because we never normally stay on property so don’t get to the Magic Kingdom early enough. I actually cried. Then it was through the arches and into the park:

Around the corner and Main Street was bustling already with all kinds of transport:

I don’t think I’ve ever had a clearer view of the castle:

I took a short-cut through the castle as I had one ride in mind but I did stop to keep snapping pictures:

The first ride I headed to was Peter Pan’s Flight and it was a walk on <shock much> I took pics of course:

I was sad on Peter Pan. It’s Momma’s favourite ride and she hadn’t gotten a chance to do it this trip and had stayed in bed this morning when I finally got it and then I also had the thought she has sworn she’s never going to WDW again so she’ll never get to ride Peter Pan’s Flight again. This made me tearful again. After Peter Pan’s flight I quickly wandered Fantasyland towards the next ride taking pics along the way:

Finally getting caugt up. I swear my computer hasn't liked you lately. Everytime I would open yourTR, my browser would crash a few minutes later. Don't feel bad though because it seems to do it a lot. (MSN) For some reason it just can't keep up, but it's the browser I like the most.

I now offically think momma is crazy. Not like Pop...the nerve of her!
Pop was our first onsite spot and will always be a favorite of mine. I actually am a big gek though and love the disney in your face huge icons. I am disappointed that the mods and deluxes are so tamed down.

You are amking me so excited about the Christmas party. honestly I haven't even looked into what we want to do yet. I keep saying I will go in with a plan, but it's too early for me yet to make that plan...and then remember it.

I am just so excited to be there druing that time. I can hardly wait to start writing the TR for this trip...It's gonna have so many new things for me.

She's not a huge Disney fan and thinks I'm stupid wanting to go there alot. I like the escape from reality

I actually like the look of the values alot more that the moderates or deluxes and it's because of all the giant icons and stuff. It appeals to the child in me

Christmas season is really the best time to go. Besides the MNSSHP it's amazing and that castle I don't think I'll ever get over seeing it with all the lights on.

That is kinda sucky for future trips but it wasn't that that had me tearful besides on Peter Pan. It was just the overwhelming year and then I was stood in my favourite place in the world finally seeing the opening ceremony to the best park in the world.

Thanks no bothers on the sharing it. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner because I know you asked ages ago if there was any dance vids around.

My graduation is 4 days after I get back from Disneyland as well and I'm not excited about that either.. I see it as a pointless waste of money and wish they'd just send me out the piece of paper instead of me paying to wear a robe and silly square hat for 2 or 3 hours! (grumpy much?)

Day 14, part 2:
So I had just finished on Peter Pan and quickly strolled over to Snow White’s Scary Adventures to say goodbye for good because I knew this would be my last time ever riding it. I fully intended taking more pictures of this because of that but a Moany McMoanison said loudly to her child DON’T WORRY THE LADY WILL STOP SNAPPING HER CAMERA ONCE THE RIDE STARTS. Eh go away woman the flash wasn’t even going. I got these that I can share before I threw a dirty look at yer one and stopped snapping (There are more pics on my blog thingy though from previous trips Clickie:

After saying farewell to Snow White’s Scary Adventures I went to wait for Mickey’s Philharmagic:

While I was waiting for Mickey’s Philharmagic, Momma text. It was 9.30 and when I told her everything I’d done she was like how have you done all that already? She then asked what our room number was. I should have suspected something was up with that question but I just told her 1443 and didn’t think anymore of it. After Mickey’s Philharmagic I had a quick look in the gift shop because I wanted this:

I still want it. They didn’t have it in my size that day.

I had told Momma I would leave after these or before 10.30 and since it was well before 10 never mind 10.30 I decided to head towards Frontierland and go on the Liberty Bell another thing that we haven’t done before. (We may have done it when I was ten but I don’t remember if we did or not.)
