70 to Freezing in 7 hours. A Nov/Dec 2011 trip report. Updated 4/28

The 20% off coupons....we love those.....
We got a couple of them on our last trip and used them. DD got her castle that way and we shipped it home. She is eyeing the monorail this year....

Fun update! Yeah for 20 % off coupons and other assorted discounts. :cool1:

Love that picture of the dino on Ellen's energy adventure!

I hope you were able to trouble shoot your computer. Did you google the problem? That's my what DH always tells me to do and sometimes it actually works! :rotfl:

I think your DVD must have used up too much space on your hard drive. Can you back it up on an external hard drive, clear up some space, and restart your computer and see what happens. Would defraging it help? Maybe you have too much stuff running in the background so the hard drive acts fuller than it is.

They were brilliant. Could get so much more. Disney should have them year round :thumbsup2

I dunno the DVD stuff is already on the external hard drive because the files were to big for the comp in the first place.. This is the message I keep getting
One or more files failed to copy correctly

The copy may have been cancelled or there may not be enough free space to complete the copy

Free space available is 703MB

I would be sure to clear off any stuff you don't need. It takes a lot of power to actually burn a CD and anything else running will interfere. Clear things like like cookies and temp files to get rid of excess.

I did an internet clear thing. I dunno tech terms. I've alot of audio for the radio show on at the mo but I need that. itunes is working again but still won't let me put the pics on disk :confused3

There was an old song that went from Paris to Berlin the chapter title reminds me of that but how and ever trip update time:

Day 8, part 2:
So we had just left Papa Noel in Canada and headed off through England in search of the next Story-teller and our next stop along the way was here:
SAM_1813.jpg

In the beautiful France and since Pere Noel wasn't going to be out until 11.55 (keeping maps and event times is a great plan for trip reports ;) ) we had time to kill.
So first I noticed another purfect friend I wanted to meet was coming out to play soon so we waited here for a few mins:
SAM_1814.jpg

and soon enough we saw a beautiful white kitten come around the corner:
SAM_1815.jpg

She had fun playing with my pen as well:
SAM_1816.jpg

After I got pics with Marie we decided to look around the shops in France for a while and I want this:
SAM_1820.jpg

We got our next kidcot stamp and Christmas message that we had started the first day in Epcot. Then we went and sat outside waiting for Pere Noel and enjoying the sun it was cold but it was sunny and dry... oh and of course I took pictures of things while waiting:
SAM_1821.jpg

Angel stole a certain Duffy's hat as well for the rest of his jorney around World Showcase:
SAM_1822.jpg

Soon enough then Pere Noel came along and story telling and picture taking continued:
SAM_1819.jpg

SAM_1823.jpg

SAM_1824.jpg

So after Pere Noel we had another hour to kill before the next story-teller and since we've never seen Impressions of France we decided we'd go along and watch that since we were beside it:
SAM_1828.jpg

While we were waiting for the movie theatre to open I was watching a mother and son play that Kim Possible game with the phones and I kinda wanted to join in lol. Momma was busy talking to some random woman about how wonderful Ireland is!
It was quite funny at this movie as well because first of all we sat near the back and this old lady on one of those scooters came along and oh lordy she could not drive. First she crashed into the row of seats then into the wall then back into the seats back into the wall and this continued for about five minutes as she attempted to reverse herself into the area for scooters at the back. It was extremely funny. Then this scene comes on the big screens:
SAM_1829.jpg

and Momma goes... "That's in Portugal"
 say what? I just burst out laughing and was like eh Momma it's called IMPRESSIONS OF FRANCE :lmao::lmao::lmao:
French movie over we started to head towards our next destination when Momma noticed she'd lost her hat so we went back to France and checked the bench she was sitting on while I was at Marie, the one she sat on while I was at Pere Noel, we looked in the theatre and around the shop but no sign of the hat anywhere so we asked a CM at the theatre and they said anything handed up would be in lost and found by the end of the day. I don't know why looking back we didn't ask the CM in the shop as well but sure.
Minus a hat we went along to the next stop on our journey around World Showcase:
SAM_1830.jpg

Japan for the Daruma Vendor:
SAM_1836.jpg

SAM_1831.jpg

SAM_1834.jpg

This is also where Momma started moaning about having no hat and the sun would burn her head so I gave her the one I had with the threat that if she lost it I'd push her into the lagoon! The hat I had brought was my daddy's old disney hat from our first trip in 1995 and although I hadn't been wearing it I had been carrying it around all the parks. Anyways Momma happy and me settled on my mission of see all the story-tellers we continued our journey around World Showcase:
SAM_1837.jpg

Next up: From a Monkey to a Witch!

Hmmm... keeping times guides for the TR is a great idea, but really you could probably just make up a time and we'd still believe it. :lmao::rotfl2:

I'm not too sure I've seen the movie in France. If I did, it was when I was little.:confused3

I hope your momma doesn't lose your hat too!

I'm just using it to figure out what order we did things in in each Pavillon really. The pictures are giving hints on which Santa we went to to they get mixed up in photobucket! :goodvibes

We hadn't seen most of Epcot up until 2010 when I convinced Momma that the front of Mexico had a behind as well :rotfl: We've since seen movie in China and gone on the boat ride in Mexico :)

I hope your momma doesn't lose your hat too!
She was threatened about that so she didn't.

I know too well about losing things.....I hope you found it...but it sounds like you didn't.

I think it's the first thing we lost in Disney parks but I knew what to do from reading various trip reports.

Does Fly spray kill spiders? This has nothing to do with Disney. I think these spiders are getting bigger nowadays I hate crawlies and there was a mutant spider (may not have been mutant techically but whatever) on the wall in the room with computer last night and I attacked it with body spray (closest thing to me) and then fly spray and it fell off the wall but I have no idea where it's gone because it's not in the place it landed. I would have hoovered it up but it was one of those that was so big you had one chance to get it with the vacuum because if you didn't it would start crawling off. :scared: :scared::scared:

Epcot is the only place we've lost stuff, and not have it returned. :confused3

Love Marie! She was our very first character interaction on our very first trip. Kadence really loves her!

Angel looks very world traveled!:lmao:

Yeah the CM's in guest services in Epcot seem a little confused.. you'll get the story eventually!

I loved her. I wanted to meet her and the Beast last year that was my goal for Epcot... along with all the story tellers and Duffy and half a dozen other things :lmao:

Angel looks very world traveled!:lmao:
Yes, yes he is! He used to be a pure white bear he's more grey white now because of all his world wide travels! :goodvibes

Firstly I'm requesting prayers for pixie dust and what not for a happy email to come soon... and if it does you'll be the first to get the details.

Secondly that mutant spider (see post above) is still missing!

Thirdly have a trip report update :)

Day 8, part 3:
So we had just left Japan and I was running along trying to get from one place to another quickly and Momma running behind me. You may notice from my trip report so far I'm a go go go person and I like getting to see EVERYTHING I possibly can and I tend to forget about things like sleeping, eating etc especially when it comes to getting to the Disney stuff I want. So picture running along in World Showcase and Momma running along behind me quietly following with all my plans for the day and not having eaten anything but the small pastry since we left Ellen's Energy Adventure and having done something similar for 8 days and she quietly goes "eh my pants is falling off when do we get to eat?" :rotfl: I guess it was another one of those days I forgot to plan stopping time for food and if you look back to the very first post you will see that was one of the possible trip report titles for that exact reason I forgot so often to leave time for food we both lost weight on holidays! :rotfl2: So we had time in China to kill while waiting for the storyteller we discussed food options and decided to hold out for a while. In the meantime Momma found a bench to sit on while I ran around China getting our kidcot stamp and message (I found those the other day so will scan the back and show you all the stamps and messages soon) and of course I took pictures:
SAM_1840.jpg

SAM_1841.jpg

SAM_1842.jpg

SAM_1843.jpg

SAM_1849.jpg

SAM_1850.jpg

and then it was time for the Chinese storyteller the Monkey King:
SAM_1844.jpg

SAM_1851.jpg

SAM_1853.jpg

See those Bamboos at the side of that pic. It was that windy that day that one of those fell over during the story telling. Anyways I did my usual picture with storyteller and then we were off to our next destination which was Italy. Either we're (I'm a) fast walker or else the pavillions on World Showcase are alot closer than one would think because we had time to kill once we reached Italy as well so again we wandered through the shops looking at their cool Christmas decorations:
SAM_1859.jpg

SAM_1860.jpg

We got our kidcot stamp and message. We also spotted a photopass photographer and got some pics.. they weren't great he seemed to be one of those don't bug me types and took the pics with the sun in our eyes so we're squinting and double chinned and all the horrible stuff good photographers leave out of pics but this amused me:
32370350256.jpg

The Minnie one was my t-shirt and the Mickey one Momma's and the way we were standing kinda looks like Mickey is running away from Minnies like list :lmao: Maybe I'm just easily amused!
Anyway back to Italy I think the Sergio dude came out while we were waiting for the story teller and Momma watched that while I wandered taking pics:
SAM_1862.jpg

SAM_1863.jpg

The details on the buildings around all of Disney not just Epcot really is amazing when you stop and take a closer look.
SAM_1874.jpg

SAM_1864.jpg

And then it was time for the storyteller La Befana:
SAM_1861.jpg

SAM_1868.jpg

SAM_1871.jpg

She was a witch. It seemed kind of cool to me to have a witch as a Santa although her story was kind of sad.
After pics with La Befana we headed towards our next destination and food but not before getting one more pic I missed earlier in the day.. Angel's visit to Japan:
SAM_1875.jpg

Next up: I think you insulted the Taarji!

Looks like y'all were doing some great exploring in the World Showcase that day! I'm glad you got to hear all of the storytellers. I've never listened to all of them. Maybe one day!

I hope you get your good news email soon! pixiedust:

Wow, I thought I used commando park touring plans, but somehow, I never manage to lose any weight. :lmao: I guess it's because part of my planning always involves detours for the many delicious junk food items around Disney World.:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Good luck with your spider. Some types of fly spray would probably kill it. It just depends on what's in them. Most won't kill right away anyway, so maybe the spider crawled away and died somewhere.:confused3

If all else fails, an aerosol can and lighter make a good flame thrower. :lmao::rotfl2:

We were getting alot in and still it didn't seem rushed. It was a nice day exploring wise. The stories are interesting but the whole story they tell is pretty much on the scrolls kinda defeats the purpose I think. Plus it's all very educational for a holiday :lmao: I mostly wanted the pics but the stories were interesting.

I hope you get your good news email soon! pixiedust:
Me to. Fingers, toes, elbows and knees crossed :)

I get the junk stuff to but mostly that's when I'm like beside the place the junk lives and I'm like that's where that shop is.

I hope it has. There's still no sign of it. I check every corner of the room before I sit at the computer so there's no chance of it suddenly appearing and I'm still on edge waiting for it to jump up at me :rotfl: I'm a little scared of them.

If all else fails, an aerosol can and lighter make a good flame thrower. :lmao::rotfl2:
I would probably set the house on fire if I tried that and that probably wouldn't be a good thing right now. :rotfl:

Here's to hoping!:goodvibes
Fingers and toes crossed. I need a change.

:rotfl2: I know where he is! :rotfl2: Sorry again, couldn't resist!
BOLD! I swear if there was a spider in my room I would not be sleeping in there.

Lost weight on a trip..... show off!:lmao:
Well you see my touring plan go from 6.30am until the park kicks you out lol! Go go go and little eating. I dunno maybe it's the heat or something I just don't feel the need to eat that much on holidays. I think at home I only eat through boredom sometimes :lmao:

Prayers for the email...now I am wondering what is going on! Love the storyteller pictures and so jealous!

Thanks.. I'd say it'll take a few weeks but we'll see what happens and you'll all be first to know if it's positive :)

I will have video clips of the story tellers eventually. My college work set me back on the holiday dvd I'm on dhs at the mo lol!
