70 to Freezing in 7 hours. A Nov/Dec 2011 trip report. Updated 4/28

So Sorry you are having so many computer problems. That really stinks. You must be so frustrated. Hope it all gets straightened out.

Be back later when I can see your pics! :goodvibes

Sorry about your computer issues...I so can relate. Make sure you have everything backed up, trust me I have learned the hard way twice now!

Love all the decorations at Sea World.

OMG I wanna move to America.. There's a banner coming up at the top of my screen advertising Twinkle Toes build a bears! Why don't we get cool (yet childish) stuff like that over here :/ and that was totally not what I was going to do. :lmao:

Sounds like y'all were off to a good start for the day at SeaWorld!
It was a good morning. I love Seaworld. After Disney it's my favourite park

I love the sea lions! :goodvibes
The Sea lion show is the funniest they're so cool. I went swimming with Sea lions in the Canary Islands once actually they're cool creatures the one I swam with was huge!

It is a dolphin show. The dolphins are showing you how well they have their pet human acrobats trained. :lmao::rotfl2:
Love it :thumbsup2 :lmao:

So Sorry you are having so many computer problems. That really stinks. You must be so frustrated. Hope it all gets straightened out.
I am about ready to throw it in the river! Internet is gone very slow and keeps crashing and now won't let me send the radio shows to the station again. I tried it on the laptop earlier and it sent but they couldn't open it so tried again after work and wouldn't send on either computer or laptop so I had to go to shopping centre computers. I don't know whether to laugh or cry about it at this stage.:sad2: Then drag to disk won't work either so can't save my pictures :(

Be back later when I can see your pics! :goodvibes
Were they not working earlier?

Sorry about your computer issues...I so can relate. Make sure you have everything backed up, trust me I have learned the hard way twice now!
I am slowly doing that. I have to divide the pictures into folders for each disk and then move them onto a hard drive and then over to the laptop to put them on disk but at least I know the disks are working and they aren't the cause of the problem as someone was trying to convince me today.

Love all the decorations at Sea World.
There was loads of different decorations everywhere in Seaworld and I loved all the Christmas merchandise. They had some very cute t-shirts.

I so agree with you about the Dolphin & Whale show! I really loved watching the animals, but when the acrobats started, I got kinda bored:lmao: It actually makes no sense to me.

My favorite show was Clyde & Seamore! We laughed so hard at the mime! He was awesome at just picking people out and making fun of them. He made fun a of a man who had walked in with his pants hanging low, underwear showing. The mime pulled his down and acted like he was a rapper. The guy didn't even see it for a long time! I'd go for that show alone!

Cookies for breakfast? I say, good choice!

I know I like the shamu style show where the whale does the impressive tricks and humans don't!

The mime is brilliant! We got a different one than normal in the morning but he was still funny.

Yup yup. We always get cookies and then go to the first show it's my tradition. :)

I hope your computer issues get resolved.

Love your Sea World pics! Did you know there is a new turtle area now? We haven't checked it out yet.

By any chance did you get to see the last Clyde and Seamore show of the day? It's hysterical. It's a parody of all the shows at Sea World. It had me in stitches! I saw it for the first time in October. It's so different from the show earlier in the day.

Me to and soon. I think my cousin is coming down tomorrow to check our phone connections and see if that's what is causing the internet problems but it still doesn't fix drag to disk!

I didn't know that. I didn't actually notice the turtles were missing in December. I did notice manatees were gone and the area where you can view the killer whales underwater was blocked off as well.

We didn't see that yet but it's prob something to note for a future trip. When we were there all the Christmas shows were on in the evening.

Happy 4th of July to all my American friends

So about two weeks ago I had a big Westlife weekend. I got lucky with accommodation and got some about ten minutes walk from the venue the day before even though the whole of Dublin was booked up!
So Westlife are my favourite boyband and they were "breaking up" this weekend personally I think five years they'll be back but it didn't make the weekend any less sad.
I love the start of the concert these bodies came up and everyone screams because they think it's westlife and then they go on fire:

On Friday night I was in golden circle so was close to the stage and got pretty pictures:

On Friday night Kian was crying and then they brought the kids and their mothers and fathers and it was all brilliant. Then they got to the you raise me up pic and Croke Park became very pretty

That place is huge! On Friday there was 80000 people there and on the Saturday there was 85000 people. It was amazing.
Saturday I was further down the pitch and it rained from about 5 o'clock onwards so it was cold and wet and by the time Westlife came on there was no point in having a coat on because was drenched through regardless but nobody was leaving regardless of rain either. I had Mickey mouse there in the form of Disney poncho to keep me dry but it failed because it was to wet:

Saturday was also broadcast to cinemas. Look at those crowds:

There was fireworks, fire, streamers and lots of tears on Saturday as Westlife said their final farewells:

Now I wait for the reunion tour :)

I LOVE your Westlife Photos, GREAT job!! I know how much you will miss them, I hope they do a reunion soon for their fans. Thanks for the July 4th wishes! :goodvibes

Thanks. You know me I like my photos! I took far to many at Westlife same as I do at Disney :lmao:
It was kind of odd because deep down although they deny it I believe that in 5 or so years they'll be back but I still cried along with them when they cried!
One of them Shane is set to launch a solo career later in the year so I suppose I'll just follow that until they get back together someday... other than that I'm going to be that much richer next year because all my money goes on Westlife and Disney :rotfl:

I'm glad you got to go to the last concert for Westlife. Hope they'll give their fans a reunion in the near future! :goodvibes

There was no way in the world I was going to miss that last concert. I've followed them since the 23rd January 1999 and have been to their concert at least once every year since they started doing their own concerts. I think if I had to sneak in I would have got to that concert. :rotfl:

I should be sleeping it's 3am over here but instead I made a trip report thing:

Day 10, part 3:

So when I left you we were hanging around watching some hungry Sea lions.
DSCF2731.jpg

I will also have some video clips of this eventually but for now you can enjoy the 2010 video I took of the hungry Sea lions:Clickie
So after that we decided to go to Pets Ahoy but judging from the photos we made a few stops along the way first at the Penguins:

And then went to check out the nearby shop… I mean we were so close it would be rude not to. So more Christmas merchandise:

I thought this guy was super cute:

We eventually made it to the Pets Ahoy show and I was pleasantly surprised to find even the Pets Ahoy stage decorated for Christmas:

I think Momma may have fallen asleep in this show possible but I enjoyed it and I love how they take the animals in it from local animal shelters I think it’s just special to me because one of my own dogs Stitch was taken from the dog pound five days before they were going to put him to sleep simply because they hadn’t the space to keep him. It’s sad like so it’s nice when places like SeaWorld put their shows to good use and rescue dogs and cats like that are in need of homes:

When we left Pets Ahoy Momma decided it was food time so she asked me to lead her to a restaurant but on the way I spotted this banner first and thought it was cute enough to warrant a picture:
DSCF2754.jpg

But then spotted these two guys:
DSCF2755.jpg

Their queue was miles long and Momma was hungry so I didn’t queue for them but took the sneak pic on the way past.
We went to Mango Joes for food. I wasn’t feeling adventurous food wise so got Momma to get me a kids meal while I went and got us seats. She came back with a hot dog and chips (fries) for me:
03122011273.jpg

And a bread bowl what we would call stew but I’m pretty sure wasn’t called stew for herself:
03122011274.jpg

It was beef and potatoes in it. It was actually quite nice because I tried it and Momma liked that bit but I think she was expecting more of it. She said she wasn’t thinking when she ordered it and wasn’t expecting it to be actually served in a bread roll. They had seemed to shovel out the bread part of a large bread roll and used the crust as a bowl. That part was very dry because she gave me the “lid” of it to eat and it needed butter. Over-all we weren’t to impressed at the food there but it filled a hole at least.
After than we decided to go do another of my SeaWorld traditions but instead were disappointed to find that we couldn’t keep it going. Every year since 1995 that we’ve gone to Florida I have a picture of me standing beside the Manatee statue but this year that whole area was blocked off because they were having a refurb so it was the first time in five visits I couldn’t get my picture at the statue.

Next up: A visit to my favourite whale.

I love that they do a show with rescue animals. That really is terrific! :goodvibes

I'm not going to lie....that food doesn't look too appetizing.

I love that you saw Bert & Ernie! I had no idea they were at SeaWorld.

Awww, I'm sorry you didn't get your traditional picture. Do they have any shows or attractions with real manatees at SeaWorld? I'm a sucker for a manatee.

Yeah I think that is a really good point about that show.

The beef and potatoes part of Momma's was nice but the roll was dry. Mine was meh you can't really expect much from hot dog and fries though really.

I love that you saw Bert & Ernie! I had no idea they were at SeaWorld.
They have Seasame Street shows from time to time but they seem to only do them in high season times. Bert and Ernie were probably out because it was a Christmas celebration weekend.

They have a walk through area normally where you can see the manatees but it wasn't open in December

Great pics of Westlife. I'm so glad you were able to make their last concert! Hopefully the reunion won't be a long wait!

Great pics of Sea World. I love the animal show, though my allergies do not. Great pic of Ernie and Bert. I will have to show that to Anakin. We have never seen them. We saw the Count, Tellie, and Big Bird though.

Thanks. I hope so to but I'll follow Shanes solo career while I wait that starts in November this year or around then anyway :)

Thanks. I've never seen the Sesame street characters out for meet and greets in seaworld. We did see a show with them in it there once but we missed their Christmas show.

I felt the same way about the dolphin show..I don't want people...I want dolphins. :thumbsup2
I also loved the Clyde and Seamore show too. The Mime is hilarious!

Question for those of you that know anything about computers what is a good upload speed on the internet?

Also I got far to excited today over cereal.. Was in the local supermarket and went to look at cereal and here was a big red box for limited time only of proper Kellogs Fruit Loops like the ones I live on in America... No Lucky Charms but I live in hope! ;)

Yeah they need to lose the people!

I also loved the Clyde and Seamore show too. The Mime is hilarious!
The Mime is one of the best things about that show. He's the reason I arrive early at it everytime :lmao:
