7 year old daughter

my 6 1/2 yr old DD is getting a nintendo DS and spongebob truth or square for the DS.

A Hanna Montanna set for her dolls
A new ballet bag
Maybe a new board game and some puppies in her pocket or we'll see if their are any Black Friday Deals

To be shared as a family WII Resort, Toy Story and Mario Kart

My DD who is 8, 9 in Feb is getting:

A blue Kodak Easy share camera
The remainder of the Chrissa AG stuff (winter sets, picnic table and treats and I think Gwen.)
I am also thinking of am iPod dock

She is a competative gymnast and her AG is really the only toys that she plays with.

my dd just turned 7 and got a DSi for her bday, so more games....I am debating the AG doll but then her younger sister would want one as well....and she is more in to dolls.

its funny reading these becuase my DD is 8 & she'll be 9 in May. She has never been a girly girl. She has never played with Barbies or AG. This year she wants an electric guitar, an ipod, and anything Pokemon or Bakugan.

My dd8 will turn 9 in december. So far I've got everything bought and wrapped except two items!! Her list is long!

From mom and dad
Hannah Montana ipod dock
hair dryer
stylin design studio
dreamlife superstar game
Flat iron
colorful lamp
carry case for her hair stuff

From Santa
pink netbook
pink mouse
tinkerbell carring case
student computer desk for her room
hot pink computer chair

stocking stuffers
selena gomez cd
demi laveto cd
itunes gift card
lip gloss, hair bows, earrings.

When I asked my DD what she wanted for Christmas, all she said is American Girl dolls - Kit, Julie and Chrissa so I was so happy with the QVC specials.

She is getting:

Julie Bundle
Chrissa Bundle
Felicity Horse Collection
Sleepytime Clothing & Accessories
Talent Show Accessories
A Smart Girl's Guide to the Internet
Dell Pink 10" Netbook with pink mouse and pink case

Plus other stuff from her Aunt and Grandparents.

Her birthday is Monday and she is getting the Kit Bundle from QVC, and we're taking her to the AG Café in NYC for dinner and then to see the Nutcracker.

My 7 and 9yo are on the young side in maturity (and i'm okay with that!!!). So these may be youngish toys, I guess. My DH was laid off, so their requests are meager.

7yo is asking for a Strawberry shortcake doll--she's tall with long hair and comes with all sorts of accessories and Sweetie Pie (or some food cute name) my little pony gumball house.

9yo is asking for Littlest Pet Shop Adoption Center and a huge pack of LPS pets

Should be noted that 9yo already owns a DS and DD7's birthday was just before we found out DH was losing his job and just received a DSi with 2 games for her birthday. They also own several AG dolls.

Our DD 8 is getting the Zhu Zhu complete set from Santa.

From us she is getting a keyboard, a science magic boxed set, knex, pictuerka, apples to apples, uno, a marble run game, kerplunk, a monkey hide and seek game, and some clothes for her Build a Bear animals.

She asked for the mindflex toy as well but I'm going to pass on that.

DD is officially done, unless there are some super great Black Friday deals.

As of now, we have for her:

ZhuZhu pets (she hasn't been begging for them, but I got them just in case)
DS Lite (pink) - got it when Target had it for $89 in August
DS Lite case/pink stylus pack/game cases
Cake Mania DS game
2 pr Crocs (from B1G1 free sale)
New PJ's (JoBros)
Harumika small sets
Phineas and Ferb plush beanies
GirlTech Talking Journal
LPS limited edition elephant (came in the mail the other day!)

Pink netbook laptop (this is from my parents - it is all she has been asking Santa for since about January)
Laptop bag

I have a lot of smaller things I got on super clearance at TRU - she may get a few of those and some will go to Toys for Tots.

Her stocking stuffers include toiletries (Tinkerbell body wash, Hannah Montana perfume, deodorant), hair ribbons/bands, and a new toothbrush/toothpaste.

We also get several DVDs for the "family" - those include the Hannah Montana Movie, Meet the Robinsons, Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana, the JoBros Concert Experience, and JONAS volume 1. I'll probably get Up and G-Force before Christmas too. These are movies we would buy anyway, but around this time of year, they get held back until Christmas.

We are getting Toy Story Mania for Wii as a family also.

The only thing she has asked for that we haven't gotten are a Barbie 3 Musketeers doll and some iCarly stuff - I'll watch for a sale, but I'm not adamant about those - she never plays with Barbies anyway.

DD8 will be 9 in May and I have already gotten her:

For Christmas Eve:
Matching PJ's, Robe, & Slippers for her and her AG Kit doll

Stocking Stuffers:
AG Sleepytime Accessories Collection
Holly the Christmas Fairy Book
LPS Digital Pet
Donald the Duck movies (free w/Disney Movie Reward points!)
Hallmark Ornament (every year)
Pair of cute character socks (Smurfs this year - Target $1 spot :cool1:)
Hello Kitty gel pens
Small wooden tic tac toe game
Few other things from Target $1 spot that I can't remember
Plus some candy

Under the tree:
AG JLY doll (from Santa)
AG Hair Care Collection
AG Honey Dog & Carrier
2 Lego Pirate sets
LPS Stuffed Animal w/ online code
One of the smaller LPS playsets ($10 ones)
Wii Lego Indiana Jones
Wii MySims Kingdom

I got a bunch of things from the TRU buy 2 get 1 free sale...LPS, Wii, and Legos. A couple things I'm setting aside for her birthday.

She is also getting a DS from Grandma & Grandpa with a few games and accessories and a winter coat from either great-grandparents or me. She has outgrown her old one but still has to wear it until Christmas. :rotfl2:

She still wants:
Monopoly
Apples to Apples
Barbie clothes
Mindflex (no way)
LPS Adoption Center (like she needs ANOTHER LPS set)

...and a bunch of other things I can't quite remember.

DD6.5 is getting a shopping expedition with her aunt. (Aunt loves to shop; her kids hate it. DD loves to shop; her parents hate it.) I suspect they're going to get clothes and girly stuff.

From us, she's getting socks and underwear. Maybe some books. She wants some more LPS sets, but doesn't play that much with the ones she already owns. (Ditto for stuffed animals, Barbies, Webkinz...) We're currently in "no TV / electronic games / computer on school nights" mode, so she won't be getting anything that uses those.

This year is really hard. DD has too many unplayed with toys (AG, petshops, etc) as it is and her birthday is right after X-mas so we have to double shop. All she wants are video games, pokemon and the mind thing that she's not getting as it looks junky. I think she's gone into the tween years. For her birthday i'm going to take everything out of her room and do a 'trading spaces' to it. With a reveal.

My 7 y.o. is getting rollerblades, a cheap camcorder, and Julie from American Girl. I think I'll buy a Wii game if I can find one on sale, but I'm trying to hold it under $200 as we just moved to a much smaller house and don't have the space we did. We are also adopting a family with 2 kids to buy presents for and groceries.

Her stocking will have nail polish, lip gloss, little notebooks, pretty pens, and an iTunes gift card.

Is my dd7 the only one who doesnt know about American Girl? She is more into the Polly Pocket type, size dolls. She is getting:

littles pet shop
disney princess plush floppy dolls
space puzzle
wii and ds games
bendaroos
strawberry shortcake set (small doll)
princess and the frog barbie
scooter
jammies

For my DD8 it started 2 years ago when I got her the Samantha book set and we read them together. Last year she got Kit and Kit's books and this year she said she wanted a Just Like You doll and some new clothes. Kit needs a friend, haha.

So in fact it was me who pushed her down that road. :rotfl2:

DD7 is mostly interested in AG stuff.

I went ahead and got her a DSi because she is getting bored with her Gameboy. I have no idea what games to get her for it.

One thing I haven't seen anyone else mention is the Barbie Glamour Camper. They've been running the commercial like crazy and she really wants this. I found one at Costco today for $85 that includes a whole "family" to go with it. I had no idea it would be that expensive!

She's not asking for Zhu Zhu's yet, but I've been snatching up what I can, just in case!

My DD will turn 7 just a few days before Christmas so I'm having to plan/shop for both. She's very into the AG dolls now - she got Kit and Ruthie for Christmas last year. She's been eyeing Kit's treehouse ever since and has recently discovered the Magic Tree House books by Mary Pope Osborne. So I couldn't resist - I got her the treehouse for her b'day while AG had the free shipping offer in Oct. And I'm getting her some more of the books to go with it. The darn thing is soooo expensive but I think she will get a lot of playtime out of it - Kit and Ruthie can have their adventures there and she can act out the MTH stories with her dolls as well.:goodvibes

As for Christmas, DD wants Chrissa and Gwen this time. So she's getting Chrissa from Santa along with some doll furniture. She especially wanted Chrissa's craft table so I ordered that and may get her some sort of craft stuff of her own since she seems pretty fascinated with that. She's also getting doll bunkbeds and a table and chairs (probably from Target). MIL is giving her Gwen. Other than that I know she'll get some books, movies, and DS games. That covers the main stuff. There's a long list of other odds and ends she says she wants - a Star Wars lightsaber:confused:, Polly Pockets, the Barbie camper, and anything that has to do with cooking. But I've still got to shop for her brother - I haven't gotten him anything yet. So I need to get his main gifts taken care of before I get her anything else. (He's 11 years older than she is so shopping for him is very different.)

I have a DD6 and DD7 to be 8 in Dec. as well. So double shopping for me too. They are getting:

AG beds and bedding
AG accessories for Molly and Julie
Apples to Apples Disney Version
Penguin Pictureka
3 Wii Games
Horse for Ag doll from Target
AG storage from Target
AG movies

I need to get wallets for both from Claires and a few other things that I"m not sure about yet. They were also asking for Snuggies!!!!:rotfl2:

I just saw that Justice had the cutest "Snuggies" in adorable patterns and with the 40% off code they have now I think they are around $11.:goodvibes
