7 or 8 families want to camp at FW at same time

We would like to organize a group campout at Fort Wilderness sometime in 2007. There will be about 7 or maybe 8 families who want to come. I need help from all of you FW veterans. When would be a good time to come, when is value season, what are the chances of getting this many sites close together? We hope to be there when it is not super hot and NOT during hurricane sesaon. There will be so much planning that has to be done, but I know it is something that we can do. I opened my big mouth last summer at one of our campouts and said that I would host at FW sometime in 2007 and the idea has just snowballed. Hubby thinks I am stark raving mad to even think about this, but there are so many of us that want to do it, I am sure we can pull it off.
So between now and then, I will be popping on here for advice and to let you know how the plans are coming along.
Please, any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

During value season you chances of 7 or 8 sites should be good. Just pick a date as soon as possible and get the reservations in.

2006 Value Season: 1/1 - 2/15, 7/5 - 10/4 11/27 - 12/19

Using your criteria of "not super hot and NOT during hurricane sesaon" you will be limited to January 1 through February 15. But, with the Disney reservation policy, you could check in on Feb 15 and maintain the value season price for you entire stay.

Keep in mind Disney works to get groups. The program for groups is Magical Gatherings
