7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise July 25 - August 1, 2009

There are several DS age 11 on this cruise. Do any of them have email privileges and want to communicate before the cruise? Our DS11 enjoys getting to know some cruise friends ahead of time. Makes it nice to have a buddy in Ocean Quest.

Andrew would love to make a new friend. He will be 11 on 7/25. He likes baseball (playing, talking about teams, etc.), sports in general, and he also reads a lot. Just PM me and I will send you our email. Thanks!

I spent Sunday researching FE, I emailed a couple of people that sells them via EBAY and private web sites, finally I decided for this lady, she has samples posted on EBAY store and has been super cooperative answering my multiple requests. It's so worth it to get a FE I was sorry I didn't know about them the first time, because they add so much fun to the whole experience! if you do a general online search for "custom fish extenders" you'll get to her EBAY store, Gradysmommy is her screen name, if you have not luck this way e-mail me and I'll get you her e-mail address. Gradysmom is who I am getting ours from too. She is WONDERFUL!!!!! I had her make a pillowcase as surprise for DD that we will hand in to be signed by the "characters". She was very quick, very nice and her work is gorgous!

We are a family of 4 DW, DH, DD and DS they give a $5 discount per person if there is a group of 10 or more booking. Go to the web site and look at it, let me know we'll get together with a group to get that discount. We also decided to do the Dolphin Encounter in Cozumel.
DH and I just spent close to 4 hours doing this!!!! booking on your own does save some $$ !

I just got my paperwork (tickets) in the mail yesterday, so you may get them today.
I understand the FE are for cards and little gifts, welcomes and celebrations (anniversaries, birthdays, etc), announcements for meets... This is the first time I am doing it so I am trying to be creative! in the next cruise we know better

Yes that is option #2 for us, the reason we are doing the island tour is because we are from Miami and 7 days of beach and pool and water is a lot, also because I want to (have to) do the rum cake factory and since we are doing the dolphin encounter in Cozumel the island tour also includes Turtle Farm. I don't know how old are your kids, mine are 5 (her birthday is during the trip on July 30) and my son is 16. I sent this question to them via e-mail last night so they say what their think in their experience as tour operator.

The Dolphin Encounter company has a 10% discount if you book in advance 31 days, so if you are planning on booking on your own look into the website already. Also there is a free taxi ride if there is 4 or more paying adults, but you have to ask for it! we are doing this in Cozumel, it will be nice to ride with someone else!

I'm also waiting to join the FE exchange once I'm able to buy a FishExtender from ebay.

I sent gradysmommy and email last night and haven't heard back yet from her.

On another thread I had read that she was on vacation and I believe she wasn't going to be back until after the 4th of July. I tried looking for that thread but wasn't able to find it, sooo hoping I read that wrong!

I don't have her email or I would give it to you, I just sent it from the ebay site.

As far as a dead line for everyone, I'm thinking it would be nice if someone or the very nice lady who started the FE list, can't remember her name right now, to perhaps PM all of the people who are on the roll call list and ask them if they would like to join the FE exchange. This way no one would be left out.

Hoping I hear back from the FE lady soon. If I do I will let you know. OR you can just go to the ebay site and email her yourself.
