7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise July 25 - August 1, 2009

We have only used our FE on our last cruise. I do not sew so ours was bought on Ebay last time. Since we will have 2 cabins this time I think we will use the FE on one cabin and then a decorated bag on the other cabin. We have never been to an exchange party so I don't know how that works. We just gave out the gifts whenever it was convient and it made the DDs feel like Secret Santa!

How do we make a list of cabin #s and find out who is interesting in participating?

I am really not sure I would hate to leave someone out who would like to participate I know I was to busy for a while to check out things on here I would hate for someone to miss out do to "life" maybe if everyone would make a post and tell if they are interested and leave the number we could put it together I am a first time cruiser so I am not real sure what all we do!

I think I would choose other, and that way you can use whatever you want.
On our last cruise we were pretty paranoid about our spending, so we would go to guest service to pay things off pretty regularly. I guess in my mind it kept things in check for me. I assume we will do the same thing this time.

I'm not positive, but I think so. I think you can pay however you want to that way.

If you have any money left on your disneyhoneymoonregistry card after your visit with the mouse in WDW , go to guest services once you board the ship, and ask that they use this 1st, before charging to your credit card. I've done this several times before with our rewards card.

I've kind of been hesitant about committing to the whole FE thing. We don't have any kids, I'm not very creative and I'm terrible at getting presents for people. I'd like to say that I will participate but I'm just not sure, when it comes down to it, if I'll get done what I'm supposed to have done for the "game."

I am Bluefire’s DH. It is very exciting how close the cruise is getting. We haven’t been on the board for a while and it is great to see how many people there are and we look forward to meeting you. It is amazing how many pages it has grown to. Glad to see people got what they wanted in trips.

Just to let you know our DS(15) will be joining us on the cruise.

Looking forward to doing Fish Extenders, based on other reports they seem a great idea. Our local market was selling FEs really cheaply and managed to get one there. DW has been finding gifts for many months in anticipation.

I just printed out the on-line check in stuff and I am hoping someone can help me!! We have two rooms only one room printed out the form with the flight info and personal info I have tried several times to get the other to print but I dont know what I am doing wrong I'm getting very agrivated it says at the top if you dont have it you have to manually fill it out at the port I did not enjoy doing it on the computer I really dont want to do it there. our rooms are linked and my credit card is the one over both rooms does this have anything to do with why it is not printing out right????? I about ready to cry

I will be happy to compile a list of cabin numbers/names for the FE, but it will have to wait until after June 19. I'm a teacher and that's my first day of freedom....things are just way to crazy for me to do it now.

Anyway, I will post a reminder in about a month. It will be fun!

I was then going to remind people periodically to PM me, so as to catch any new participants to this thread. Then, a week or so before the cruise, I was going to PM all of the participants with the list of handles, names and ages (if so indicated), and cabin numbers.

However, I'd be more than happy to have someone else do it.

I'm a teacher too!! My last day is June 23rd and we have a countdown in the teacher's room. It's funny, as a student, you never thought your teachers were as excited about snow days and school ending as you were!! But I think the teachers look forward to those things even more than the students!!

I have GTY Cat 4 and not sure if I will have my stateroom before or will have it at Embarkation Day

So, how do you do that? Does it depend on what room inventory they have not sold and do you get a discount? We wanted a balcony, but had to settle for an outside deluxe room with a porthole due to cost. Do they give preference to Castaway members?

From what I've read...there is not really any method to their madness.

You check in as normal and then head to the upgrade line to see what they have in inventory.

I am told that Castaway members are not given preference.
