7 Month or 11 Month reservation question

When they say 7 or 11 month, is that to de day? For example if I want to reserve for checking in on July 21st, do I need to wait until Dec 21st? Or can I reserve Dec 1st?

For example for a July 21, 2009 checking date, I can call Dec 14? (dec 21 - 7)
