7 month booking date ???

Hi all,

I am hoping to change my Thanksgiving BCV ressie to VWL. I am checking in 11/23 and out 11/27.

Would tomorrow, Monday 4/26 be the day I could do the whole ressie - 11/26 is the last night I stay over) OR would it be Tuesday (7 months from the day I check out)?

I am a teacher and have to arrange being able to make a phone call in the AM so I don't want to have to do it 2 days in a row.

Any one who knows? I am sure lots of you do!!! This is my first time needing/trying to get a different resort right at that 7 month mark.

Keeping my fingers crossed also, I am bringing my extended family and sold my mom on how nice Thanksgiving would be at VWL.

The 7 month window is from check out.

So if your last night is 11/26, you would make your call on April 27 because you will be checking out on 11/27.

Just for future reference, if the 11 or 7 month mark from check-out falls on a weekend or holiday when MS is closed, you must wait until the next day that they are open. If you are facing a points banking deadline and that falls on the weekend or holiday, you must call the day BEFORE when MS is open. The day after is "past" the deadline.

Good Luck. Since you're looking at 7-months you're already behind all those who were able to book ahead of you, between 8-11 months out, so there's no guessing what might still be available for that holiday time period.

Keep in mind that if nothing's available right now, go ahead and wait-list. You can have it set up so that if VWL becomes available, they will automatically change your BCV reservation to VWL.

A lot can happen in the next 6-months.

If it's not available, I'd waitlist all the days together on an automatic confirm. This would be easy to do as the BCV and VWL points are the same so you wouldn't have to worry about losing any points if it's close to your banking window. One thing about it, BCV is great in its on right, so you would still be staying at a terrific resort if VWL doesn't come through.
