7 D's worth riding twice?

I would use the FP+ just one day. If you are in the park late, the wait times were not too long if you want to ride again. It's fun, cute, and very short. We were there in Nov. '14. We had a Memory Maker so we rode all the rides with the photos and videos. We had a great time "acting scared" for the photos!

I'd plan to do it once during the day and again after dark. It's a different experience at night vs. daytime. It's a fun ride, but is short like others have said. Have fun!

In my opinion, definitely. I heard all the complaints before riding it & didn't have high hopes but I loved it. As did my wife and teenage son (who rode it 4 times due to rider swap because of our baby). And I had 2 FPs. Our first day we rode it during the day. Our 2nd day we rode at night. Totally different experience in look and feel. If you don't care to ride it a 2nd time you can change it after your first ride.

We plan on riding it twice on our next trip. Once during the day and once at night. my kids are a lot younger than yours, but they like Splash and BTMRR more and want to ride those everyday.

One of the few benefits of FP+ is the ability to change the FP on the app. Wait until you ride it once to decide, if you want to change it there are plenty of other rides at MK that you can switch it to. If you like it and you've already changed your FP to something else, there is little chance of getting another 7DMT FP on that day.

I rode it for the first time ever 2 weeks ago and loved it!! I would of loved to have gone on it again but no way I was waiting in that line. I agree with others when they say it's too short. It's super cute and fun though. But only do it if you get FP for it

Totally different perspective. I am a Roller Coaster Junkie. Fun, Fast better!!! We and all my adult sons LOVE 7DMT. People seem to focus on the "Short" ride. It is FAST! Going through the mine there is a lot to see, don't know how you could see it all in one ride. It will certainly be a classic, the videos on Memory Maker are great, the queue and theming are terrific. We also have found that our appreciation is enhanced with each ride. Like others have said, decide for yourselves!

We had 4 FP+ for our trip 2 weeks ago. My 9 year old loved it the first day and we went on again another 3 days. It was fun for her and worth it for me to not have to stand in the lines :)

BTMRR and space mountain are superior rides, but the themeing is better on 7D. I agree with doing it once in standby though. Keep the FP and decide after you ride though, if you really like it that is a good FP to have with the long lines normally.

At night you can actually SEE Snow White and the dwarfs dancing inside the cottage. During the daytime there's too much damn glare on the cottage windows, imo!

Getting a FP for it during Wishes would be awesome - did that with BTMRR and it was amazing.

We rode it twice at RD in November. I believe the crowds were in the 4-6 range or so. It was "basically" a walk-on as long as you go straight there (no bathroom break etc.) I'd recommend keeping on FP+ and hitting RD or later at night for the second ride if you find you like it. We loved it but my kids are much younger.

We have 3 MK days on our upcoming trip, and we have FP+ for 7D each of those days. I made sure to have one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one at night. I think that on some rides (and I'm including BTMRR in this) the experience is different between day and night rights, so we wanted both and this is going to be our first trip since the Fantasyland expansion has been open.

I may change the FP+ on the third day to a different ride. This trip is totally about our child and what he wants to do, so we will decide based on his reaction to the ride.

I personally love the ride, ad it is definitely one of my new favorites, due to the theme and every little detail involved. Since I love it so much, if I knew I was going to MK twice, I would definitely get a FP for both days!

Definitely ride twice- try for once during the day and once after dark. On our December trip we rode twice with FastPass morning and night and then snuck in an extra nighttime ride at MVMCP. We got in line just before midnight and waited only 15 minutes. That time we went standby and got to experience the interactive que- and like PP stated the window scene during the ride is much better after dark!

We rode it twice in about a half hour late one night last summer. The posted wait was 80 minutes, but the actual wait was 20 the first time then 10 for the 2nd trip.

It was fun.
